Nikkor lense I have a AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor ED 18-70mm lense. Up to now it has been good for me. Now I have a problem. When I take indoor shots the lense will not focus in it spins like it is trying to focus but thats all it does is spin back and forth. Sometimes it will take (allow) a picture and the picture is very blurry. I have no idea how this happened. I don't know too much about lenses and this is baffling me, especially since I don't have any trouble shooting or focusing outside. Outside i

I bought digital Canon EOS Rebel XT two years ago, and I have really big problem with AF. I got one half of the pictures fuzzy. Sometimes the green light is on, I took the picture and it is fuzzy. Next shot is fine. I never have this kind of problem with Canon Rebel ( not digital). Now I can't rely on Auto Focus at all. Please explain to me where is a problem. Thanks, Irene

Nikon 18-200mm VR lens doesn't seem to want to AF focus at full focal length 200mm distance. I bought this lens second hand on ebay and am not certain if there is a problem with this lens. If I try to shoot a picture at full focal length indoors it seem to be fine or relatively close shots but out side, full distance shots it wont work. The focal ring is at full focus and just turns with no change in the view finder but it needs more. Broken MIrror? well your sub-mirror is broken inside of the camera, i had the same problem, it just happens by itself after extended use of the camera, and it is not a means for recall by canon so you have to deal with it yourself.  this website can fix it for $130 and they will replace it with a metal piece so it doesn't happen again(original piece is weak plastic) I just read the above solution.  It looks like I may have the same problem - I have easily taken 50,000 pictures with my Canon Rebe

All of a sudden every picture I take with the 55-200 zoom lens is blurry and slightly out of focus. Pictures with the 18-55 lens are still sharp. I have been using that 55-200 lens for years for sports shots, and have never had any problem. I get the same blurriness shooting in both the auto sports setting and in shutter priority. It is a brand new issue. Could it be the AF servos starting to go in the lens, or am I doing something stupid?

Simplest answer is that you may have accidentally flipped the focus switch (A/M) on the lens to M. This turns off autofocus for that lens (which you might need to do if autofocus just can't resolve the image). Try turning it back to A.Ano ... Nikon D40x Digital Camera

I have a Nikon Coolpix L110. When I take pictures, they often look yellow. I can get the color to correct by focusing on a nearby area, but when I return to the shot I want to take, the color almost always goes back to a yellowish cast. I bought this camera because I was having the same problem with my last Nikon. I thought it was the camera. Now I'm thinking the problem is with the manufacturer.

CAPACITY Problem I am using a 2GB Kingston CF card on my S9500, and at 5MP it can store up to 1000 pictures. Recently I had it formatted on a computer and when I inserted it back to my camera, the capacity went down to 590 pictures! i thought it caught a virus or something so I scanned it, then formatted it on the camera. but the display still says I got 590 shots left. so I reformatted it on another PC, and on Properties it says 0 usage so i'm positive there's nothing wrong with the card. I am using Canon 1000D dslr for more than 18months, it was working fine until last Sunday. I went outside and started taking few shots... it was not focusing properly (or should I say not at all!) and pictures are coming blurred. When I press the shutter button half, it should run the motor (in autofocus mode) and focus, but it is not doing anything (i.e. no red dots are coming)... what could be the problem? Thanks for any help.................

The autofocus motor could be be broken, or the lens may not be communicating correctly with the camera. One thing that can help if it's not communicating correctly is to clean the lens contacts. "overexposure" The problem arose after I visited a botanical garden and went from cold outside weather to high temperature and humidity conditions. The next day I found that the image through the viewfinder and lens appeared vastly overexposed, nearly all white. If I focused on an object, the exposure would return to normal, but the picture taken was shot through all over with fine white lines, making it indecipherable. The exposure through the lens and viewfinder has now returned to normal, but

My Sony Alpha 200 digital camera takes lovely pictures, but as I am a beginner and don't really know much about apertures and shutter speeds and how complex they are, I'm having great difficulty in getting it to focus properly in the manual setting. All other settings are fine, but the image in my viewfinder is very blurry when I look through before taking the shot. I have altered the diopter for my eyes as I wear glasses, so that isn't the problem. Is there something I'm either doing wrong, or

Autofocus malfunction Dear Sir, I have a Sony Alpha 350 that is new and have been used for only a very short trial period. It has been working properly but it happened yesterday that after shooting some 100 pictures (not continuously but separate shots) that the autofocus system started to jam. When I switch it off and on again even after unloading and reloading the battery and that after minutes to cool the problem persists. The manual focus is working properly but I don't know what to do with

I recently purchased the D80 and had no problems, it worked great and took magnificant shots. However, the other day I turned it on and the viewfinder was now, dark and out of focus. The battery was fully charged and the diopter adjustment failed to fix the problem. I also noted that there was a square in the upper right viewfider that was clear and in focus, just like the entire viewfinder used to be. Of note, it still takes clear, sharp, in-focus shots, it's just that the view in the viewfinde
