Having problems with your Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera ?

Even with an ISO 100 setting on a bright f16 sunny day and with a fast shutter speed I still get excessive noise? Any ideas? I use a Canon Rebel Xsi

Answers :

No noise should be present on ISO 100 with that camera. If you are sure noise is produced, not dust or something else, have the camera serviced by Canon, this seems like a defective sensor.

Harsh shadows we are trying to take pictures for a friend's small wedding - at the rehearsal today we practiced picture taking with both a Canon Rebel XSI (using both the regular lense and adding a telephoto lense) and a Canon PowerShot S5-IS. The problem is that we are getting a lot of pictures that have a 'hard' shadow on the people in them. It doesn't appear to be a regular shadow because it doesn't 'land' on the different surfaces behind them, but is more like a shadow attached to them. Any

I have a Canon Digital EOS Rebel XT and the built-in flash no longer pops up when needed. This started happening after using a Canon speedlite, but then removing it. I've tried resetting everything, and tried all modes expecting that the ones listed in the manual as using a flash would work, but they dont, it never pops up. Grinding noise I had my cd500 fixed in November. The little piece that holds the cd in came off. They fixed that, but then when I got it back I was still getting format errors. They gave it back and told me to only use mavica discs. And since then that is what I've been doing. However I am still hearing a loud grinding noise when the picture is being burned. Do you know what it is? I am wondering if I need to take it back in.
