Having problems with your Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera ?

My camera won't take a picture, just it flashes, and the display says busy. When I press the different adjustment buttons the display says "this function is not selectable in the current shooting mode". However, changing shooting modes does not make any difference.

I was taking pictures and was switching between different shooting modes; on the manual mode when i was changing exposure settings, suddenly a msg came on the centre of the screen saying 'Access...' and then is just not going. All the buttons of the camera have stopped working other than the playback and power button. Hi, I've just recieved my nikon d90 back from a repair and service, and although everything appears to be working fine, whenever I want to change shooting modes,( auto, P, M, flash off etc), they only work once I have selected them, and then turned the camera off and back on. In other words I cannot be shooting in the Auto mode and then switch to "flash off auto"....all that happens is that the auto focus works but the shutter will not operate. I own a canon powershot S3 is and I am getting this strange E24 error where in the camera lense would comes out and just goes in . I change out the batteries between the rechargeable ones it came with and double A's. I can get it to read the internal memory if I use the cord and connect it to my computer and select reformat. Even if it tells me that it is protected. The lens will not close even after you turn the power off or if you go to review. I tried different memory, changed batteries and read about trouble shooting. It worked perfectly before.

My Canon EOS 350D camera was working just fine the last time I used it, but now it won't shoot any more. Everything else on the camera works just fine, it just won't take any photographs in any mode. Photo resolution I have a friend who has a Sony DSC-H1. She says she is shooting photos in the highest quality possible but when she upload them to the computer they are enormous in size but only 72 dpi. She is trying to aquire a 300 dpi photo. My DSC-H9 will not display stored pictures or video. When I push the button to switch from picture taking to picture viewing it shuts off. Changed battery, memory stick, did "reboot", pulled battery for 30 seconds. Nothing made any difference. I can plug in to PC and view or pull pictures off.
