I purchased a d80 recently and took about 2,000 shots at an outdoor music festival virtually 90% of them came out with poor image quality, i was shooting in "fine" mode and alternated my settings primarily from portrait, auto, P, settings- example i was taking a picture of a trombone player wearing a white shirt and black pants, when you look at the black, it looks like scatter multicolored pixels, like an image taken with a 2 megapixel camera from 500ft away and then enlarged. Canon Powershot G10 image quality problems... I have had my Canon Powershot G10 for 2 years and have had the same problem from the start... it is now driving me mad! When viewing photos in anything other than the supplied Canon Zoom Browser or Photo Professional the quality is poor. The images are noticeably blurred and appear grainy. I normally shot in manual mode with ISO80 and record images in RAW+JPEG. Processing the RAW photos seems to slightly improve the blur (though it is still there)

Grainy Pictures I received this camera as a Christmas gift, this past Christmas, and I have not been able to get a decent photo from it yet. The indoor photos are very grainy with a bubble sometimes in the photo. Outdoor photos are too light and also grainy, especially when the zoom is used. I have tried adjusting the image quality and the ISO setting but neither of these adjustments have improved the quality of the pictures. The printed pictures look worse than the images on the LCD screen. I c

There is no problem, however, indoors whatever the light condition. Also, if i shoot a video using the camera, even on the outdoors, i get satisfactory results (not any different from earlier). What could be the problem? Thanks.

When I compare outdoor images taken with my old Canon Digital Ixus 400 and my Canon EOS10D, I find that the blue response of the 10D is very poor - what shows up as a nice blue sky with the Ixus gives a dull grey/blue with the 10D, using both cameras in fully automatic mode. Any suggestions?

Moire patterns A few months ago I decided to 'wet my toe' with digital photography and I bought very cheap Mustek GSmart Mini 2 digicam. As you might expect with a $60 camera the image quality is a bit limited due to the fixed focus lens, low resolution (1.3MP) and poor low light performance. Anyway, now that I can see the advantages of digital photography I'm planning on buying a decent camera e.g. Canon S230 to overcome the problems of the Mustek. One problem that the mustek has
