Light or white picture when shot on a broad daylight or on a well-lighted area

\015 My A460 has this kinda unusual thing happening. when shot in a broad daylight or even a well lighted area, picture contains a very light or should I say white image that you can hardly see nothing but white.\015

Answers :

Are you in any other mode besides automatic when this happens. If you're not sure, check that the rotator dial is set to the first little red camera right next to the blue arrow (this is the automatic position). If you're in this position then it's unlikely that overexposure will occur unless you're also encountering mechanical failure of a stuck shutter.

White balance I have an ongoing problem with all my images having a stronge red / yellow color cast to them. It does not matter if I'm in the daylight or shooting under flouresent lights. When I use my flash the area directly in front of the flash is usually ok, but where the flash falls off, the immediate area has that color cast to it. Example: If I take a picture of the front fender, of a vehicle from six feet away, the fender is usually ok but the chrome wheel, tire and pavement have the red

The LCD Monitor of my Canon PowerShot A95 shows purple, white, and black horizontal lines instead of a clear image of what is in the Viewfinder. Pictures taken while showing up this way on the LCD Monitor turn out with the same fuzzy stripes. Light lines show up in the well-lit areas of the scene and dark lines show up where the scene is dark. The problem was intermittent for months but now cannot be corrected by powering off. This is to inform that I am having Casio Digital Camera Exilim EX-Z500 for last few years. The same was giving very good pictures, but last week, it suddenly started malfunctioning. Whenever, we took indoor pictures, they were coming out well as per attached pictures (CIM2831 & CIM2826) but when the camera was taken outside in the day light, though the picture was very clear on the LCD screen but after clicking, the picture is overshadowed with white light (as per other attached pictures).

Some things to try:\0121. Go into the menu and find "reset" to return to factory default settings.\0122. Check the ISO setting....you may have it set too high for outdoor pictures.\0123. Check the "exposure compensation"...it should be at "0". ... Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera

Canon SD600 I used my camera to take pictures of fireworks and I noticed that afterwards, all the photos I was taking outside in daylight were turning white. DSC-T7 Blurriness Last week I purchased a DSC-T7 and I am having several problems with picture quality. Mainly, any white or light object in the picture (whether it be a t-shirt or a blanket etc.) has a extremely blurry edge, almost like a halo. Other areas of the picture then would be rather dark. I don't think it is an autofocus issue. I have set the EV to -1.0, the WB to Auto, the contrast, sharpness, and I everything else to normal. Can the camera be adjusted to fix this? thanks

Try this test:\015\012Mount the camera on a tripod or set it on a secure base and use the self timer to trip the shutter. Doing this will totally eliminate any possibility of camera shake causing blurriness.\015\012\015\012If the picture is still blu ... Sony DSC-T7 Digital Camera

Extreme overexposure Outdoor photos are mostly blank - white. Indoor photos are okay if there is very little light and I have it set on the "snow" setting. Blue photos Can anyone tell me some reasons why some outdoor shots I took of snow/trees, etc. might look blueish? I took some pictures at sundown that came out fine, and ones I took about 10 minutes later look blue. I don't recall changing any settings. I also took similar shots at the same time with another digital camera and those looked fine. Is this something that's common in low light with a lot of white background? (Or is this a "user problem?")

Snow pictures tend to be blue due to the blue spectrum being scattered and reflected from the snow (similar to why the sky is blue). Plus just after sunset, you're going to get a cooler color temperature (blue cast).\015\012\015\012However, instead o ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10 Digital Camera

I just purchased a Power Shot sx200is. I will be taking pictures this evening where most of the subjects are African American. They will be getting awards and the person giving the awards is Irish American and very light skinned. This will take place in a room that is well lit with florescent lighting. In the past I have had success shooting this combination with a Nikon camera using the night snapshot mode. But this is the first time I will be using the Canon. Any tips you can give me.
