I have a Canon Power Shot A720. Outdoor photos are beautiful. Indoor photos are always grainy/blurry...a lot of noise. I have tried the ISP feature but there are only two choices... 1. Auto or 2. High ISO Auto Either setting, the indoor photos are grainy. Further, there are times when my flash will not work. It won't work on Auto setting or when I try and "force flash" it. No flash and the photo will not allow a picture to even be taken. Any suggestions? Thanks

I think I'm going to explode if I hear one more "worn out battery" explanation for what seems to be a pretty common complaint. This is my 3rd camera...all ending up with the same problem. I've had the Canon Power Shot A570 for less than a year. Someone suggested changing the settings...but even with brand spanking new batteries, I can't even get it to last long enough to get into the settings. There is clearly a problem here that has NOTHING to do with the blasted batteries.

Sounds like you have a faulty board in the camera or it could be something as simple as a software upgrade, I know some of the Fuji Hine Pix had the same problem and it was the software. Take it back to the Canon. ... Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera
