Having problems with your Canon PowerShot A560 Digital Camera ?

Camera fell in water for a brief moment(quick save) Camera will not power on. Is there any hope?

Answers :

Remove all batteries. Let it completely dry before trying to restart. If it doesn't, you probably have lost it. I've had about 50% luck when this ever happened to me whenver water comes into contact with cameras, camcorders, laptops, etc. You can also try putting a dessicant like moisture stop in a tight container along with the camera for a few days. Sometimes that will remove all moisture. There are also sprays made that remove moisture. I think Radio Shack sells one. Hope this helps.
