Having problems with your Canon PowerShot A620 Digital Camera ?

Can I use 8GB SD cards in my Canon Powershot A620 camera? I thought I once read that it will only support up to 2GB SD cards.

Answers :

The A620 uses MMC and SD cards. SD cards max out at 2GB in size. Larger cards are actually SDHC or SDXC cards and will not work in the A620.
Yor camera can use either SD Memory Card or MultiMediaCard. The manufacturer tested the camera with a max size of 2GB SD card. 4GB and higher SD cards are SDHC cards. You cannot use those cards. There are no SD cards above 2GB.
