White Exposure when shot

\015 Marlon just asked: I have a Canon Power Shot A410, when I used to take pictures it came out white exposure, what shall i do to fix it?\015

You say.. "used to" does that mean it doesn't do it now?

overexposure is caused by setting the wrong ASA ( film speed) oon digital you set the ISO which is the digital equivalent.

GO TO MENU and set ISO to auto and WB (White balance to auto) EX(IT

See if that imoroves the outcome.

some ISO settings in models akllow individual selections of numerical values for different lighting.
ISO 64, 120, 250, 500, 1000. etc

1000 is for very low light (fast film ) 64 is for brighter conditions like average daylight

"overexposure" The problem arose after I visited a botanical garden and went from cold outside weather to high temperature and humidity conditions. The next day I found that the image through the viewfinder and lens appeared vastly overexposed, nearly all white. If I focused on an object, the exposure would return to normal, but the picture taken was shot through all over with fine white lines, making it indecipherable. The exposure through the lens and viewfinder has now returned to normal, but

Exposure problem Hi,i'm using EOS 1dMK2 for 5 months now & i've noticed the same problem i've had using D60,1D wich is when i set the camera to top ISO speed & high speed continous shooting almost every second shot is underexposed for 1 stop, stangely this only happens indoor under tungsten or flourescent light.I've also tried to:set custom white ballance, shoot raw ,change lenses, set manual exposure & aperture. Has anyone else noticed this ? P.S. Parameters for both pictures are 1/250sec, f4 ,

I have checked every setting (0EV, Multi AF Focus, Multi Metering, Auto WB,OFF PFX, and default camera setup). This is a mind bender, While doing a shoot using monolights connected to a Nikon D1x I encountered exposure problems. After the lights were metered for the best exposure, I started shooting. The first ten or so shots were fine, and all of a sudden the next ten shots looked like they were 8 stops over, and then it went to looking ok. The first thing I did was switch monolights thinking there was a problem with the flash, this did not resolve the issue. Next I switched camera bodies, still the int

Over exposure The exposure settings on the camera have suddenly become fixed - I can't change them either through fixing shutter speed, OEV, or any other settings. Even tried a factory reset by selecting 'initialize' from the menu, but the problem persists. High or low exposure settings are visible on the viewfinder (i.e. changing the settings shows the picture getting darker or lighter on the screen), but once the picture is shot, it's fixed at an overexposed state.

Hi all, I wonder if you can supply some advice regarding a Sigma17-35mm lens I purchased earlier in the year. Basically if I use the automatic or 'P' setting on my Canon EOS 30D camera the image is over exposed by 1 to 2 stops. If I use the same functions with my Canon 18 -55 kit lens the exposure is correct so I would presume the camera is not causing the problem. The only way I can get a correct exposure with the Sigma lens is to compensate manually for each shot. Please note the exposure p

"Stuck" Pixel Hello folks I bought a used S2 from a friend and recently started noticing this green hot pixel that shows up at the same location in most of the shots. These are not long exposures. Blue photos Can anyone tell me some reasons why some outdoor shots I took of snow/trees, etc. might look blueish? I took some pictures at sundown that came out fine, and ones I took about 10 minutes later look blue. I don't recall changing any settings. I also took similar shots at the same time with another digital camera and those looked fine. Is this something that's common in low light with a lot of white background? (Or is this a "user problem?")

Snow pictures tend to be blue due to the blue spectrum being scattered and reflected from the snow (similar to why the sky is blue). Plus just after sunset, you're going to get a cooler color temperature (blue cast).\015\012\015\012However, instead o ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10 Digital Camera
