My Nikon D80 seems to not be letting in enough light, its struggling to do any exposures in a fairly well lit room, that are above 5th sec and regularly defaulting to 1600 ISO when in auto! I'm fairly well experienced and have checked all the obvious things like ISO etc. When you look through the viewfinder, it seems to be darker - any advice much appreciated.

When taking pictures inside my DX4530 camera cannot gather enough light so that I can see the pictures.

This is a characteristic of many of today's digital point and shoot cameras. The little flash only reaches out about 5 or so feet, and unless you can supply an external source of light this will continue. One cause is taking pictures with light in t ... Digital Cameras

I have a Nikon D300. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong, I assume it's a setting issue. In low light situations even with the flash I can't seem to stop action or even properly light things. I have had any kind of issue like this on a camera before. In situations where I should be able to handhold I am using a monopod. I know there is enough light to not have to handhold, I mean I am using the flash. Frankly even with available light this should not be an issue.

Canon SD600 I used my camera to take pictures of fireworks and I noticed that afterwards, all the photos I was taking outside in daylight were turning white. If I take pictures in the dark, they turn out perfect, and low light pictures are fairly normal except anywhere where there is a light source (lamp, window, etc) the color is streaky and orange. This particular camera has no way to adjust the aperture settings and I am considering taking it to a shop to have it looked at. Is there anything

7 May 2010 Hi there, I have an Olympus camera that I bought in June 2007. I had a two-year guarantee, which ran out last year. Now my camera won?t come on. This happened once before but when I put in new batteries (although the batteries I was using were fairly new), it worked again. Now, however, I?ve had no low-battery warning light and one minute the camera was working, the next it had stopped. I was taking pictures into bright sunlight switching between manual and automatic settings, and manual and automatic focus.
