Having problems with your Canon PowerShot A80 Digital Camera ?

\015 My Canon Power Shot A80 is about 6 years old and a couple of years ago I bought both a wide angle and a telephoto lens with adapter for it. Even with new batteries, I am now unable to see an image on the LCD screen either in shooting mode or review. If an image does happen to come up, it is just horizontal striations vibrating rapidly on the screen. Is the camera broken? Is it fixable? Is it just to costly to consider trying to get this camera fixed and, if so, is there another decent camera that I can use these lenses with? Obviously an early version with tiny LCD...seems a real a waste! Thanks, Dale Julier\015

The battery is fully charged and can not find anything in the manuals provided regarding this failure. cheers, Maura

My Cannon Power shot SX120 is less than a year old, I havent dropped or otherwise abused it. One moment the camera was fine, the next moment it has really bad horizontal lines in the pictures. The closer you zoom the worse the lines are. The lines cover the entire picture from top to bottom. I have tried replacing the batteries with fresh ones, even tried a different memory card..nothing seems to help.
