My Canon PowerShot A80 has a metering problem I think

\015 When taking pictures today, my Auto setting changed from 160/f 2.8 to 2000/f 8.0. The resulting pictures looked like they had been shot through a very dense light pink window screen. After I shut it down, changed batteries and turned it on again, the pictures were normal, but only for 2 shots, after which, it reverted to the weird setting and gave me the pink screen effect (light pink screen with lighter horizontal lines running across entire display). A couple of shots were completely black; the rest went back to the pink screen with the image barely visible. The settings for the number of pictures I can take with the 32 mb memory card also vastly decreased to 3 pictures in the large format. I changed the memory card and reformatted the new card, to no avail. I've taken great care with this camera - it's never been damaged, gotten dirty or been exposed to high humidity. I'm mystified. I love this camera! It was a replacement for a Toshiba digital that the motherboard died in 4 years ago.\015

Blurred pictures every time i take pictures with my Canon PowerShot A530, pictures always come out to be blurred inspite of using new batteries. What do you think the problem is, can anybody help me out?

HI, I have a Canon Powershot Sd 790 IS and it totally quit working on me so I took it all apart and then put it back together and now it powers on okay, and the lense opens and extends, but the image is blurry. I'm thinking there is a reset somewhere so that the camera knows when it is focused and then stays that way. Am I right or is there another problem? If I'm right, what do I have to do to reset it? Thanks Marty

This is probably a problem with the focusing ring. The focusing ring is inside the lens assembly, and there is a ribbon connector going to the main board. There's a chance that the connector is slightly misaligned, or loose. Another problem co ... Digital Cameras

I recently bought a Canon powershot SX200is and I was using it to photograph my 4 year old grandson's birthday party, however a lot of the shots were blurred, these were mainly taken indoor, when I checked the camera settings I found the speed settings were ranging from 1/60sec to 1/6sec. I was shooting in P and AV, however I then switched back to automatic (auto) and took shots with the full range of options and still found some shots blurred, I think the problem is, the camera is trying to foc

Canon Powershot G10 image quality problems... I have had my Canon Powershot G10 for 2 years and have had the same problem from the start... it is now driving me mad! When viewing photos in anything other than the supplied Canon Zoom Browser or Photo Professional the quality is poor. The images are noticeably blurred and appear grainy. I normally shot in manual mode with ISO80 and record images in RAW+JPEG. Processing the RAW photos seems to slightly improve the blur (though it is still there)
