Having problems with your Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera ?

My LCD Monitor displays only black w/ fuzzy white bands or blocks as I move it around. No images come on at all. This was an intermittent problem, but now that's all I get. All 14 modes affected - none work. Cannot take pictures at all, however, images on the CF Card are still viewable.

The LCD on my DMC-TZ5 looks like someone ran the image through one of those turn-your-picture-into-a-cartoon filters. The problem is present in both record and review modes (and menus too), both for still pictures and video. It does not affect the actual pics/video once downloaded to the computer; it's just a problem with the LCD display. It developed this problem after I took it to a repair shop to fix a stuck lens shutter/cover thingy. Before I take it back and accuse them of screwing somet

Hi,As you mentioned that once you downloaded the pictures to computer it was fine, that confirms that CCD sensor is fine. Moreover, as you could not see the saved image / picture properly confirms that this is a problem with LCD. Unfortun ... Panasonic DMC-TZ5 Digital Camera

My Panasonic DMC-TZ3 in any shooting mode produces the following both on the screen and in a captured image: a blurry, snowy, magenta-tinted (visual noise?) presentation. At one point, it produced several normal images, then returned to the problem. The playback mode produces normal images from sored normal images. I have never dropped the camera or exposed it to high heat or cold. I have 3 batteries and none produce any variance in the bad image. I've tied all settings and reset. Up until the

My Nikon D90 has started to shoot images with what appears to be hair in lens, Switched lense to Macro and hair is still there It is always in varying shapes, so to speak But is ruining my images It is most prevalent with Blue sky background/ Really then you can see it Also trid taking it out of manual Mode to Auto still was not shooting Clear Images??? Thank you

If you switch lenses and the hair is still appearing on your pictures, it is quite possible you have an actual hair or thread or something located in the camera body in the way of the sensor. Remove your lens and visually examine the inside of the b ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

My Canon SI/IS Power Shot digital camera is not able to bring up image on normal operating picture modes. It does however still show stored pictures when I change back to images already stored in camera. In picture mode all I get is a dark screen and lines. What's up?

DSC P51 Trying to decide whether my camera is suffering from the defective CCD imager problem. I currently have a black image at all times, as if the shutter is closed. I removed the MS and reset the camera which didn't affect anything. On the Sony site it says to take a movie clip with sound then replay it. When I did that, it didn't replay the image and I heard no sound either. Does hearing no sound still constitute a prob with the CCD imager?

Canon Powershot G10 image quality problems... I have had my Canon Powershot G10 for 2 years and have had the same problem from the start... it is now driving me mad! When viewing photos in anything other than the supplied Canon Zoom Browser or Photo Professional the quality is poor. The images are noticeably blurred and appear grainy. I normally shot in manual mode with ISO80 and record images in RAW+JPEG. Processing the RAW photos seems to slightly improve the blur (though it is still there)

I dropped my Powershot A 530, and since then i am not able to see any image on the screen, and when i shoot it regardless i get blank images on the memory card. The previous images that i had taken are still on the card and show up when i switch to memory/picture mode. Any ideas what might be the problem?

Hi, I have a panasonic Lumix, DMC-FS5 digital camera. When I turn the camera on and it's on 'photograph' mode, a message keeps appearing after a couple of seconds saying: "please turn camera off and then on again". I get the same message everytime and am unable to take any photos or even access the menu options. There are no problems when the mode is set to 'playback' mode. The images are still there and I can scroll through, as well as access the menu.

Blank screen My Canon Powershot SD600, when in picture taking mode, does not show any images on the screen -- it is dark. However, in video mode and play mode, it is just fine so I know the screen still works. And it can take pictures, I just can't see anything!

Sounds like you accidentally pressed the DISP (Display) button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the screen on and off in picture taking mode to save battery power. You could then use the optical viewfinder in its place. To turn it b ... Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Camera

My Fuji s2000 always shoots picture that are blured. I have tried many settings and different exposures however I keep getting the same result. What can I do ? The worst mode on this camera is the auto mode, I can never get a clear indoor picture. This camera takes beautiful pictures of flowers/nature and all outdoor photo's turn out beautiful it is the indoor photo's I have even tried the sports mode for when people move but I still get a very blured image

Found the same thing and I think the answer is the opposite of previous suggestions. The s2000 is truly awful at anything above about 400ASA The degree of pixel binning it uses just makes the pictures look terrible. Force the camera to use 400 or s ... Fuji FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera

Hi, I have a Ricoh Caplio R5 which appears to be working normally in all areas except that when you switch it on, in both camera and video mode, there is no image on the screen and if you make an exposure, it still makes all the correct noises etc but obviously there is no captured images. Why is my olympus e420 taking green tinted photos? I bought a new camera which I received yesterday, and it was until earlier, but has suddenly started taking yellowy/greeny tinted images. I've tried changing the settings, I've changed the camera modes, I reset the settings altogether and even changed lenses and yet the camera still takes tinted pictures, inside and outside. Also, when I switch the camera to live-view mode (shows exactly what the lens sees) it shows pretty much an entire green s

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?
