Having problems with your Canon PowerShot G10 Digital Camera ?
My G10 will automatically take 3 photos in one shot on if it is not on auto mode. Even if I've already set it on single photo mode.
It's probably bracketing each photo. Depends on the settings, but it will take the same picture and under expose or over expose it making sure you get a good picture.

Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?
Put the camera in to the full auto mode. If the pictures are still dark, it is possible that the apature inside of the lens is not working. There is a micro-motor, gear assembly, iris leaf assembly, and a servo amp circuit that drives the apature. Th ... Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera
My Fuji s2000 always shoots picture that are blured. I have tried many settings and different exposures however I keep getting the same result. What can I do ? The worst mode on this camera is the auto mode, I can never get a clear indoor picture. This camera takes beautiful pictures of flowers/nature and all outdoor photo's turn out beautiful it is the indoor photo's I have even tried the sports mode for when people move but I still get a very blured image
Found the same thing and I think the answer is the opposite of previous suggestions. The s2000 is truly awful at anything above about 400ASA The degree of pixel binning it uses just makes the pictures look terrible. Force the camera to use 400 or s ... Fuji FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera

Have the Nikon D90 camera and it does not allow me to take pictures when ever I want. It is in full auto mode and just does not want to take the picture even in bright day light. The F keeps on blinking in full auto mode and even if I switch to manual mode it does not allow me to change settings. It is very frustrating! what is wrong with this D90??
The blinking F-- means that the camera doesn't think a lens is attached. You can try removing the lens and re-attaching it. Or if you have another lens, try that. There are quite a few reports of this issue with the 18-135 kit lens. ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens
The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When I press the button the little red light beside the flash sign lights up, but the camera does not take the photo. When I set it to flash mode, it still won't take a photo. When I turn off the flash, then it does. What could be the problem? Is it in the settings?
If your batteries are weak, the flash will not have enough power to flash and will prevent a picture from being taken. ... Nikon Coolpix S210 Digital Camera
I am having problems with the flash working on my camera. It does not seem to matter if it is in automatic or manual modes. When I take a picture in either mode, when a flash is needed, the flash icon just blinks on the display. The camera will not take any photo when this is happening. The only way I can get my camera to take a photo is manually set the flash to off. Why is this happening?

Why is my olympus e420 taking green tinted photos? I bought a new camera which I received yesterday, and it was until earlier, but has suddenly started taking yellowy/greeny tinted images. I've tried changing the settings, I've changed the camera modes, I reset the settings altogether and even changed lenses and yet the camera still takes tinted pictures, inside and outside. Also, when I switch the camera to live-view mode (shows exactly what the lens sees) it shows pretty much an entire green s

My D80 suddenly stopped taking photos while I was in Auto mode. I noticed the flash stopped releasing. I've changed lenses, reset the camera's green buttons, switched out the card, reset the clock. It will occasionally take a photo, not necessarily in focus, and the flash will on occasion pop, but I can't figure out what the correct triggers are. Can anyone help? Lens is 18-135mm. Set Lens in in "A" and camera is in "AF"mode. Thanks much.

I have a Nikon D40 which is coming upto being two years old. Recently I have noticed that the auto-focus will not work. If I manually focus I can still take photos but when auto is engaged it will not even try to focus and therefore will not allow me to take a photo. I have not made any changes to the settings and therefore I am concerned it is a hardware fault. Nikon D40 pictures taken but too dark even in AUTO mode with flash on a bright day. also, some days ago I had the Shutter release error message while taking some photos. After that, the camera is acting weird, pictures sometimes are taken but the picture is always dark, although flash is used and AUTO mode selected. I do not see the error message anymore, but the camera simply do not take pictures properly. I tried formatting, etc with no result.

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ35.. I adore this camera, it is light, takes great photos and easy to learn. However, awhile back I encountered a problem with the setting's dial. It is not lining up correctly and now does not set to certain modes, or it skips one. This is particularly the case with the Scene setting and the close up setting. The camera is still under warrenty since I have not even had it 8 months. I was wondering if this is something that a camera repair place could adjust simply. I

Powershot s410 My s410 is "old" :( but I love it and has been working amazingly over 10,000 photos in the 4 years I've had it. All of a sudden this week-end when I am in auto or manual mode the screen is black - I can't see what I am shooting. What is odd is that if I am in the panoramic mode or video mode the screen works. Even odder is that if I actually take a picture blindly (since the screen is black) it shows up on the display! Help... :) Thanks
Since it is taking a picture, and showing it up afterwards on the display, it definitely sounds like you activated the DISP or DISPLAY button. Seeing that you've used this camera for years, you should know that this manually turns the screen on and ... Canon PowerShot S410 / IXUS 430 Digital Camera

When I turn the camera on and it's on 'photograph' mode, a message keeps appearing after a couple of seconds saying: "please turn camera off and then on again". The images are still there and I can scroll through, as well as access the menu.
