My camera is producing spots, or freckle-like or shadow-like spots which are noticable on photos such as a clear blue sky photo. The spots are in the exact same place on photos even when I change to different lens. I know the mirror flips up for a photo, but to be safe, I have cleaned it, but that didn't help anything. Purchased camera 11/07.

CAMERA IS THREE MONTHS OLD. ON MY LAST OUTING I NOTICED A PERFECT CIRCLE SPOT ONLY IN SHOTS OF THE SKY. THE SPOT IS IN THE IDENTICAL PLACE ON ALL SKY SHOT PHOTOS NO MATTER WHAT FOCAL LENGHT IS USED. THE LENSE IS CLEAN AT BOTH ENDS. I CHECKED MY PHOTOS WHEN I ORIGINALLY GOT THIS CAMERA AND THERE IS NO ROUND SPOTS ANYWHERE. THE SPOT IS IN THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER OF ANY SHOT WHERE THERE ARE CLOUDS OR SKY. FLASH PICTURES, INTERIOR PICTURES AND THE LIKE, THERE IS NO SPOT. PLEASE HELP...RICHIE

If you have another lens, switch it and take some shots of the sky. If the spot is gone, it probably was the lens that needs cleaning/servicing. However, it's more likely that there's dirt on your CCD. On your camera's menu, select mirror lockup/cl ... Canon EOS 40D Digital Camera with 28-135mm lens

My polaroid 300 instant camera is leaving 3 distinct white spots in the exact same location on every photo taken. When you look closly at the photo, you can see the white spots are indentations on the film. I've gone through 4 rolls thinking it might be the film, but I'm beginning to think it's the camera. Any suggestions?

We are an orthodontic office using the Nikon D7000 to take facial and intra-oral photos. We are noticing that the intra-oral shots taken from 1-2 feet away have spots over the photo that look like freckles. The facial shots taken from 4-5 feet away do not appear to have the spots; however the camera is having trouble focusing at that distance.

Spots on photos that are consistant and reoccurring. They are not caused by the lens...regardless of lens the spots appear on the photo. I think they may be on the sensor. How do you clean it?

First, try a bulb blower. Don't use compressed air, but a rubber squeeze bulb. If that doesn't work, you can try a sensor swab. There are also things like static brushes like the Arctic Butterfly.Any good camera store should be able ... Nikon D100 Digital Camera

My Panisonic Lumix was dropped in the lake in its case last summer. I dried it out and it still works great. The only thing is now when I take photos of things that are dark like night time photos or a room painted a dark color small spots show up. I am assuming that those are water spots on the lense. What is the best way o fix this problem? Thanks.

If these spots are in different places on each picture, then they are actually reflections of dust particles in the air from the flash being so close to the lens. If they are in the same place on each picture, then they are indeed water spots on the ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Camera

On all my Scenery shots there are clear round consistent spots on photos. These 4 spots only show up on sky, ocean, & light scenes. They are consistently in the same spot. Also showed up on a Brides White Dress. What can I do to fix this.....Oh one more fact....I changed out my 3 lenses and it shows up on all three, so it's definitely the camera body problem.

Grainy, image I bought my Riccoh Caplio GX 5.1 mp three years ago. At first it took the best pictures I could wish for, but for monyhs now I am getting very variable results. Some photos are OK, but many are grainy, "pixleated" - having tiny spots of the primary colours throughout the image. There doesn't seem to be any one situation when this happens. It can be inside, outside, flash or none. The pictures also seem to be a lot darker, so photos taken inside or at night are much poorer quality,
