Having problems with your Canon PowerShot G9 Digital Camera ?

I think my canon g9 zoom spring is either broken or dislodged. I was foolish enough to take it apart myself, and can't quite figure out how it should look

Hello. I recommend that you bag up all of the components and take them and the camera into a camera repair shop. Without the repair manuals, which are not widely available anywhere, reassembling this lens so that it is properly aligned and properly functioning is almost impossible. Joe.

I took it to a camera repair shop in Vitnam, The guy said he could fix it and went to work on it, when i got it back it worked perfect for a while and all of a sudden it stopped showing an image on the display. I can however look at previously taken photos. Just cant take new ones. If i take a photo and then check if an image came out (even though i couldn't see an image when i took the photo) nothing is shown. I really hat

Taking pics I just got a Nikon D40 camera and I can't seem to figure out how to view on the screen what I'm looking at when I'm trying to take a picture. I can view them in play mode after the fact, but isn't there a way to see on the screen instead of having to look through the little window to see what I'm shooting? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

That's because the Nikon D40 does not have Live View. Up until a couple of years ago, no DSLR's had live preview, due to the design of a DSLR over a point and shoot, as it has a pentamirror arrangement that effectivly deflects the light path to the v ... Nikon D40 Body Only Digital Camera
