The LCD on my Canon Powershot A610 went completely black yesterday while I was shooting. The illumination has not returned. The photos taken look fine. However, it is not possible to preview any shots. In playback mode, the illumination operates as it should. I know of another person whose A610 had this same malfunction recently, and we have no idea how to remedy this. The relevant section of the manual did not provide a solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

After leaving my Sony DSC-T2 camera unused for only a couple of days the battery was flat. I recharged it fully but again it only lasted a day or two. I assumed the battery was dead and I purchased a new Sony NP-BD1 battery and charged it correctly. This new battery is behaving exactly the same as the old one, only holding a charge for a day or two at most. It seems the camera is draining the battery when it is switched off, or maybe the charger is faulty ??? Any ideas?? many thanks - Geoff

Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera. Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. But can anything be done to correct the blurry pictures taken in this situation?? Any software known to correct this problem? Thank's, Angela Sapp

"overexposure" The problem arose after I visited a botanical garden and went from cold outside weather to high temperature and humidity conditions. The next day I found that the image through the viewfinder and lens appeared vastly overexposed, nearly all white. If I focused on an object, the exposure would return to normal, but the picture taken was shot through all over with fine white lines, making it indecipherable. The exposure through the lens and viewfinder has now returned to normal, but

My Nikon CoolPix 5700 seems confused about OFF and ON, and now I can't take a photo becase it won't stay ON long enough for me to press the shutter release.
