I'm using the sports mode and all my shots are blurry and orange

An overly orange or blue image usually means the white balance is not set correctly.\012\012A blurry image means that the shutter speed is too slow. Put it on shutter priority, up your ISO to 1000, up your shutter speed to 1/500 then lower t ... Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS / 1000D IS Digital Camera

All of a sudden every picture I take with the 55-200 zoom lens is blurry and slightly out of focus. Pictures with the 18-55 lens are still sharp. I have been using that 55-200 lens for years for sports shots, and have never had any problem. I get the same blurriness shooting in both the auto sports setting and in shutter priority. It is a brand new issue. Could it be the AF servos starting to go in the lens, or am I doing something stupid?

Simplest answer is that you may have accidentally flipped the focus switch (A/M) on the lens to M. This turns off autofocus for that lens (which you might need to do if autofocus just can't resolve the image). Try turning it back to A.Ano ... Nikon D40x Digital Camera

I was at a basketball game last night and taking pictures with the d80 and the 55-200 lens. All of the pictures I took in auto focus were blurry. I changed it to the S mode with shutter speed at 4000 and those pictures came out completely dark with nothing in the picture. I changed the setting to the sports mode and the shutter speed is not fast enough because I have the same issue with blurring or out of focus.

Shutter speed I have had my camera for 6 months. Today I used it for soccer pics and put it on sport mode and every pic I took is blurry. I'm having a couple problems with my Nikon D90 and for the life of me that manual is too confusing, The first problem I'm having is.... I'm taking pictures at my sons wrestling events and I can't get it to take clear pictures. If i put it on sports it's one of the worst with blurriness. I don't know a good setting for this? The next problem I'm having at the same events is red eye and or white eye. I know how to change the red eye option however it doesn't stop it from happening and even if I

I imagine your son's wrestling events are held in school gyms with lighting that is less than ideal. If you are taking pictures without a flash then the blurriness you describe could well be due to a slow shutter speed. Your camera is using a slowe ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens
