\015 Have it on auto, but at night or indoors the photos come out almost black or so dim they are useless. How can I fix this? Are my settings wrong? (in an effort to correct the problem, I have tried a number of settings, so now I don't know what it SHOULD be set on.\015\012\015\012Thanks!\015

Answers :

I hope that you have selected "flash on". Try first on at all times;and then flash AUTO.
ISO at 400 or 800
Does it flash when you take a picture ?
If not, and it is selected to flash, then the capacitor or bulb needs replacing.

I have a Canon Rebel XSi. I'm trying to shoot a photo of my sleeping 2 year old, so the light is obviously low. I have the cameral on manual mode. I used the light meter to obtain my exposure, but when I push the button to take the picture, nothing happens. On the right side of the light meter, there is a blinking green light when I try to take the picture. What am I doing wrong? Canon SD600 I used my camera to take pictures of fireworks and I noticed that afterwards, all the photos I was taking outside in daylight were turning white. If I take pictures in the dark, they turn out perfect, and low light pictures are fairly normal except anywhere where there is a light source (lamp, window, etc) the color is streaky and orange. This particular camera has no way to adjust the aperture settings and I am considering taking it to a shop to have it looked at. Is there anything

Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

I was taking test photos around the house with my new camera and the flash won't fire properly (the flash pops up out of the camera but it makes little sparking sounds and flickering on and off). Dim Photos My G3 has begun to take very dim photos, all iso speeds are affected plus Auto mode. It can barely focus, even with the assist light on. If it was the light meter (setting too high an aperture?) it would probably be able to focus, right. When I take a picture it always sets f2.0 1/60 sec, even at iso400. Is it the image sensor?
