Having problems with your Canon PowerShot SD630 Digital ELPH / IXUS 65 Digital Camera ?

Is there a size limit for the memory card for the SD630. I put a 4 GB one in it, and it say memory card error

Answers :

This camera only supports up to 2GIG or memory card so that's the reason why the 4 GIG wont work with it....

People have used even 4 GB on this camera without any issue.

The 'Memory Card Full" message actually refers to the internal memory\015\012of the camera and 15 pictures is about the right number it can store.

The\015\012" Memory Card Error " message refers to the GTX card which was not\015\012working. ( hence causing the camera to record the pictures in the\015\012internal memory )

Between the camera and the GTX memory card, it\015\012is more likely the problem lies in the card than the camera. I would\015\012return the card to the shop.

Hope i helped.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
