Reset option and clean sensor option are not visible in set up menu. Canon D20 I had a two spots that kept appearing in the same area of the photo so I looked at the manual and did the clean sensor function a couple of times and the spots remain. I had also done a reset all functions since my stepson gave me the camera and I wanted to restore it to its original settings. Now I don't see either the clean sensor option or the reset in the set up menu. Help!

I have a Nikon D80. Whilst at Yosemite National Park a few weeks ago, where it was extremely cold I noticed that my camera would not take photo. After a few tries, it started working fine again. However, yesterday the shutter started sticking, and the ERR message showed on the screen. Then I can take one photo, and same thing happens again. Is there something I can do with settings, or do you think there may be something wrong with the camera body? I took to a camera shop and they say the

Camera had beer spilled over it. Not much but enough to stop it working. I took it to a camera repair shop in Vitnam, The guy said he could fix it and went to work on it, when i got it back it worked perfect for a while and all of a sudden it stopped showing an image on the display. I can however look at previously taken photos. Just cant take new ones. If i take a photo and then check if an image came out (even though i couldn't see an image when i took the photo) nothing is shown. I really hat

Hello there. I have a brand new Kodak 'EasyShare M530' digital camera which is supposed to take 12 Megapixel photo's. I have only had the camera two weeks and the screen is now pinky/red and every photo it takes is out of focus with a red tint on it. Can you please help? I am not sure if it is inside the camera or perhaps the lense. I have cleaned the lense but the pink/redish tint still remains. I might have to take it back but just wondered what an expert would think of this. Kind rega

The button that you press to make a photo came off the camera, and it won't depress to make a photo now. Is there a spring or something missing? If so, would a local camera shop be able to repair/replace it, or will I need to send it back to Sony? Thank you!

My Canon 5D mkI turns on ok, will focus, displays top and back, but it will not take a shot. I have two batteries, both which I have charged to full and tried (display shows full charge). I have also tried two seperate CF cards. I have tried cleaning all contacts. Still it won't take a photo. The shutter will work when I use the "clean sensor" function though. Also, I have reset all settings on the camera. Anyone know why the camera isn't firing off a shot?

I applied lens cleaning fluid directly to the lens of my camera, a Fuji F50FD digital compact, but it seems to have leaked into the lens housing. Any photos I now take appear with mutiple fine white streaks across them. Curiously, when I shoot in video mode the footage appears completely unaffected. Is this something that I can fix myself - is it just a question of taking the camera apart, then cleaning the inside with care? Or would the lens housing now to be replaced?

This is not something I would recommend you do without the proper knowledge or alignment tools. You would probably just end up with a brick instead of a camera. Sending it to a repair center would be very expensive. Possibly much more than the camera ... Fuji Finepix F50FD Digital Camera

I bought a Canon 40D from Amazon--through Ace Digital Photo--in a kit with a 17-85mm lens, presumably new. I replaced it recently with the 50D. Now I learn that the camera, which was never outside my home and has about 100 activations was used--quite a lot of use and significant dust on the sensor. I was cheated, obviously. I can see the dust myself and a camera shop told me the camera was used extensively. Well, I am pretty disappointed. The purchase date was around 08/01/2008 and I still

I've got a Fujifilm F30. Since yesterday, its not working properly. When I take photos, it 'absorbs' too much light and indoor photos becomes really bright and outdoor photos becomes nearly white from brightness. And when I transfer the pictures to computer, it has minor lines accross the picture. The video mode seems to be unaffected. What is the problem and is it worth fixing ? Would like to fix it if I can as F30 is still considered one of the best compact camera Fuji has ever made ! Thanks.

Does Canon have a problem with their software? When I try to download photos the camera is recognized by the software but then the window does not provide software available to download, even though I have downloaded tons of photos prior to this problem. The tech cleaned up some other issues, but is at a loss to figure out why the software will not download photos. We have spent litteraly hours on this

I receive the same "errr" message. The photo shop said it was a bad contact, they cleaned them with an eraser and made sure there was good contact. Problem was slightly better, but still exists. I have to remove the battery to clear the problem, turning it off and back on does no good. You can actually feel the lense move ever so slightly. Camera has gone back to Nikon for a repair. Very disappointed at this point with this. Camera store acknowledged that they have seen many of these.

Even without the flash, the eyepiece viewfinder has remained dark. Hello there, My Samsung ES55 recently stopped working completely (not turning on) for no apparent reason. I had been taking lots of photos, 153 to be exact, and then it just didn't work. It was still under warranty and when I got it back from the camera shop, they told me it had been dropped - which it hadn't - and whilst it was now working, they would guaruntee it any more. Now the camera works but the images are often blurred. I think it might be an auto-focus problem. When I try and tak

In a drunken haze on Friday night, I was looking for my camera for hours, to record the crazy antics of the eve. When I found it later, much to my dismay, the screen had several cracks on it. This is the result of it being found in my back pocket!! I have been able to get all the photos off the memory stick, and the camera still operates perfectly, except there is no image visible on the screen. When switched on there are no unusual whirring noises that would indicate internal mechanical problem
