Sd880 dirt on ccd/image sensor

\015 I've got a Canon SD880 IS camera that I really like. However, there is dust/dirt on the image sensor itself. I've looked high and low to find a repair manual/instructions that tell me how to disassemble the camera that far so I can blow off the dirt. Any ideas?\015

There's some dust spots in my pictures with my Nikon D80. I have sent it for sensor cleaning at Nikon centre but seems that the spots cannot be removed as the technician says it's hidden underneath/behind the sensor. I am not sure how true it is or the technician is just plain lazy because I had to tell him where the spots were 3 times before he got the remove most of them. The spots are not visible if I don't scrutinise the pictures though but it sure is irritating knowing there are 1 more spec

Nothing works!!!!!!! I have been having problems with my 5D for some time now. The problems started with a piece of black felt on the sensor, which I noticed when reviewing my pics on the PC. Where can I get a replacement sensor or the camera fixed What should I expect it to cost as we are debating whether to find a used one or just buy a new camera.

My EOS 400D flash sometimes pops up in bright daylight in full auto mode. I sent it back to Cannon who returned it saying no fault found. I then began to think that the problem was the way I held the camera and that I may be obscuring the (light?) sensor near the grip with my hand. After not using the camera for a while I am now taking shots again and the flash pop up problem has re-appeared. I am now sure I am not blocking the sensor. Any ideas?

In full auto mode, the camera tries to use fill flash, when it detects a backlit scene (e.g. a person in front of a window). So this is not a bug, it's a feature! If you don't want the flash to fire, you can push it down and still take the shot. ... Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens

Hello I have a faulty JVC GR-DF470. It seems that some models (not this one), had a malfunctioning CCD Image Sensor. This appears to be the case with this model.
