This would need to be repaired if the lens is stuck so is the shutter. I would take it in and have it looked at. there is no other resetting then what you already have done ot the unit.\015\012\015\012\015\012thanks for rating. ... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 Digital Camera

This is a recently purchased camera that was working beautifully until recently. It just stopped taking pictures; when the shutter release is pressed, nothing happens. The only clue I have to what is happening came when I pressed the Quick View button and got a No Card message. I changed the CF card to one I took from my Canon Rebel XT and that I knew was working fine - again the message No Card when the QV button was pressed. Does that help at all in defining the problem? I have a Digital Rebel 40 D camera less than 1 year old and I removed the memory card and I cannot get it to go back into the slot. The eject button is still depressed after I depressed it to eject the memory card out of it. This is the first time this has happened. Do you have a easy to understand diagram that simply describes the operation of the back side of the camera as to what all of the button choice mean, i.e. , bs, menu , etc. Also in one area on the back side, there is a square with a button in the middle and four lines pointing in different directions just as you would view north, south, east and west. I assume that 2 of the lines assist in moving the view of the pictures forward and backwards. Any help that you can provide would be most help
