Having problems with your Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera ?

I recently went on a trip to Hawaii, wanting the best pictures possible, I cleaned my Rebel XT and when I got to Hawaii it would focus in and out but would not lock in focus so as to shot the picture. I also noticed the autofocus points do not light up and I can not manually focus either. Is this repairable?

Focus problems Hi, my camera is not focusing clearly. We just used it recently and can look at clear pictures on the display screen but now when we go to actually take a picture it's blury (on the display screen and if a picture is taken). I also notice that all these different setting menu's come up on the display screen when we are in take picture mode. I took it in today and they said the lens could have been bumped or that their is something wrong with the focusing inside. So they would hav

Hi i just bought a canon eos rebel from someone online and it has a 28-80 lens. I try to use it and i noticed the focus is very loose, is that normal? I dont know alot about cameras but i have used manual cameras before and i have never used one with such a loose focus. And also would i lose slight focus if its like that when i go and take a picture?

Your camera is primarily an autofocus model: manual focussing is very much a secondary feature and is always very free moving. If it were any other way then it would cause the AF motor to work much harder and dramatically shorten the battery life. ... Canon EOS Rebel 2000 with 28-80 lens 35mm Film Camera

Unable to see anything through the eye piece or on the lcd. I can point to something and flash will go and it will sound like it took a picture but unable to see anything. Focusing Problems I just bought the Canon 20d. I shot a wedding with it two weeks ago, and really liked how it performed in low light. However, I noticed a lot of my photos from the low lit reception came back out of focus. (The outdoor ceremony shots were fine). I noticed 3 issues with the images: 1-The main subject, which often was dead center and took up 1/2 to 2/3 of the frame, was often NOT in focus. Rather, the camera selected some point way off to one side or off in the distance som

My Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTI will not automatically focus. The little AF points don't show red to signify it is focusing. The camera just takes a blurry picture. It was working perfectly one minute and the next it wasn't. I tried taking the battery out and the points would turn red a few times then they would quit working again. Please give me an idea what might be wrong. Thanks,

I have a Nikon S200 digital camera. I took some pictures last night, using the flash. When I flicked back through them, I found a problem. I would look at a picture as it was focusing, and after a few seconds when it was focused, it would distort in all different colors. Also, when I try to import those photos into iPhoto on my Macbook Pro, it says that the files are unrecognizable.

I just turned on the camera to take a picture and noticed that the camera was not focusing. I tried changing the setting, turned of the camera and restarted it, removed the battery and put it back in. Nothing I could think of would make the camera focus. The screen only shows blurry and out of focus. The pictures taken by the camera are blurry and out of focus. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thank You

I also have the problem of pictures not in focus. I have made a point to lock in first by pushing halfway down before snapping the picture. It's ridiculous that a picture of an inanimate object is not in focus when I'm making a conscious effort to hold my hands steady, lock in the object and then snap, and I'm in the automatic mode. This problem seriously makes me sorry I bought this camera.

My Pentax Optio S10 digital camera is giving me problems. Initially the lens would not extend fully and would then immediately retract and the camera would then turn itself off. After cleaning the extended lens barrel each time it extended, I found it would open further each time. It nows extends fully, but still retracts immediately thereafter. At the time the screen shows the green Optio screen for a split second and then shows an out of focus shot of whatever the camera is pointing at, bef

I just received my Nikon D3100 in the mail today, and I was so excited. When I opened the lens cap on the camera body to put the lens on a small, clear-ish rectangle fell out. It was surrounded by a thin cooper colored frame that is easily removable. It looked like a little magnifying glass so I am kind of nervous. It seems to shoot pictures fine, but some times it tells me the shot is to dark even though I am in full light. It also took black pictures the first few times and if I point it di

"Stuck" Pixel Hello folks I bought a used S2 from a friend and recently started noticing this green hot pixel that shows up at the same location in most of the shots. These are not long exposures. They're available light shots inside my house, so they average 1/45 @ f4 ISO 400. I'm starting with digital and this really sucks, because it is showing up in most pictures. These are snapshots of my family and I don't want to have to fix each of them in post production. I would like to hear from membe

Exposure problem Hi,i'm using EOS 1dMK2 for 5 months now & i've noticed the same problem i've had using D60,1D wich is when i set the camera to top ISO speed & high speed continous shooting almost every second shot is underexposed for 1 stop, stangely this only happens indoor under tungsten or flourescent light.I've also tried to:set custom white ballance, shoot raw ,change lenses, set manual exposure & aperture. Has anyone else noticed this ? P.S. Parameters for both pictures are 1/250sec, f4 ,

Do you have a easy to understand diagram that simply describes the operation of the back side of the camera as to what all of the button choice mean, i.e. , bs, menu , etc. Also in one area on the back side, there is a square with a button in the middle and four lines pointing in different directions just as you would view north, south, east and west. I assume that 2 of the lines assist in moving the view of the pictures forward and backwards. Any help that you can provide would be most help
