Having problems with your Casio Exilim EX-S880 Digital Camera ?

When the camera is turned on, a card error message appears. I am trying to retrieve the photos, however, in windows, it says that the memory card needs formatting. I know that if I format the card again, I will lose all my pictures. Is there a solution to this problem?

Answers :

If you haven't formatted the card at all yet and the memory card is just corrupt there is a lot of software out there that will try and retrieve whatever it can. Most of them have a free trial that will at least show you what they can get off the card first then you will know if it's worth it to buy it. Here is one example:

Pictures missing some (not all) of pictures taken end up missing from the camera ; they can't be viewed on the camera or loaded into my pc. I know the pics were there but missing later. this has happened with two separate memory cards so I know it's not a card problem. I've had the camersa a few years and this is the first problem. One of the memory cards intermittantly comes up with a "memory card error" message but not the card that was exclusively in use when the problem first showed itself.
