Pictures missing some (not all) of pictures taken end up missing from the camera ; they can't be viewed on the camera or loaded into my pc. I know the pics were there but missing later. this has happened with two separate memory cards so I know it's not a card problem. I've had the camersa a few years and this is the first problem. One of the memory cards intermittantly comes up with a "memory card error" message but not the card that was exclusively in use when the problem first showed itself.

I took my CF card out to get photos, went to put it back in and the screen read "There is a problem with CF card. Replace the CF card." I didn't think there was a problem with the card. But I replaced it anyway. Same message. I tried to format the new card and a message read err 99 turn it off and on and reinstall battery & put it back. I did all of that. Put new memory card in camera but has formatting problem. When memory card is put in it says the new memory card requires formatting. When I install a memory card in my camera I get the message read only memory card, remove write protection to capture or write to card. When I view my card in the camera, I see all my photos. When I go to down load them using different programs, besides Kodak, it shows that some of the photo are "drawing failed". Why does my Kodak P880 Digital Camera keeps locking my memory card but the memory card is not on lock position? I have access to two of the same camera and both have the same problem.
