Pictures too dark with and without flash

\015 I have a casio ex-z85a. I've only had it for a few months, its a 9.1 megapixel camera. When i first got it the camera worked great. Now the flash doesn't work consistently, actually only every so often even when the flash is turned on all the time. Regardless of the flash being on or off the pictures taken are so dark you can't make anything in them out. How do I fix this?\015

Hi. I have a Nikkon D3000, a Sigma 105mm lens, and a round flash ring. I have the settings as: ISO: 200, Shutter Speed: 1/200, F25 for close teeth photos and F8 for face shots. Now I am a dentist and first time user of this camera got the settings from a dental photography website. The proble is: When I take pictures with the flash ring on they turn up black, without the flash ring on and the camera flash on, the pictures turn out clear buy very dark. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Close-up picture Hi! I purchased my camera to take up close-up pictures of handmade greeting cards. The cards are 4" x 5 1/2" with lots of little details. I'd like to show as much detail as possble. I'm not sure what the best setting are? I've tried using the flash, but the whole picture just glares out, the light bounces off of the card and makes a big glare in the center. Without the flash, the picture is too dark. Can you help me figure out the best setting to use? Or, what kind of lighting

Flash When I take pictures, all of the faces are completely whited out. It's like the flash is too bright but when I adjust the flash, then it's too dark. I'm sort of confused as to what to do. I would love to be able to use the flash without whiting out all the faces and bleaching out the background. I've tried adjusting the brightness and the flash but that doesn't work. Is there anything else I'm doing wrong?

I do not see the error message anymore, but the camera simply do not take pictures properly. I tried formatting, etc with no result.

Canon sd900 I seldom use my canon sd900 and I usually take pictures without using the flash. But I recently noticed that my hands should be very very steady, just a slight movement will cause the picture to be blurry or unclear. And my problem arises when I would request other people to take my picture because 90% don?t have a steady hand thus giving me a blurry picture.
