From the user manual on pages 20 and 161 (click here for North American version) (click here for rest of world version):\015\012
\015\012To replace the memory card:\015\012
\015\012Press [ON/OFF] switch (Power) to turn off the camera and then open the battery cover. Pressing the battery cover, slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow.\015\012
\015\012Press the memory card and then release it. This will cause it to pop out of the memory card slot slightly. Pull the card out the rest of the way and then insert another one.\015\012\015\012
    \015\012
  • Never remove a card from the camera while the back lamp is flashing green. Doing so can cause the image save operation to fail and even damage the memory card

Hi, most newer digital cameras use the push method to remove the SD Card.
Try to gently push inward on the memory card until you hear a click and then pull it out.
Hope this helps
