Hello, I have had this camera for a few years and have had nothing but trouble with it. This camera shuts off or locks up when you turn it on. I believe the lense gears were changed the last time I sent it in and are still not repaired. Because of the continuous trouble I have just let it set for about a year. What do you reccomend, can you repair?

A few months ago my camera started having problems. no matter how many times i change the batteries, the camera still will not turn on and when it does it flashes a quick image and then the screen goes black and it dies without taking in the lens!!! i am very VERY careful with it and have never dropped it, so i do not understand why it is not working! the Camera is only a year old and i have used it quite a few times and it has never had a problem until now.

Hello, When I just bought this camera several years ago, I entered the time and date settings and after I've done this it never asked for time/date settings again. But now every time I turn on the power button, I have to set the time an date and press "SET" for OK. I read somewhere on the internet that others have encountered this problem as well. Dear Experts: I got the 850SW over a year ago, I only used it less than 10 times around pool or water park. I never immersed the cemera in water though, I doubt it was really waterproof like they claimed. Three weeks ago, my friend borrowed it for snorkeling in Hawaii for a couple of minutes. then the camera couldn't be turned on: every time I pressed the power button, it kept on beeping a few times then went off. If I pre-set to picture review, the camera is normal, just when I change to shooti

Nikkon DS1 I have to go to an event this evening, New Year's Eve, at the Rio. I haven't had my Nikkon very long and I have had nothing but trouble with it. I'm sure its not the camera, I'm sure its me not knowing how to use it properly. I did not receive a user's manual when I purchased this camera and I can't seem to get one. The VCR orked well the last time I used it a couple of years ago. It has been sitting in the rack for at least two years and was not ever used for more than a couple of weeks since new. I bought it for a video project and never used it after that. Now, when playing tapes, it runs at a speed faster than it was originally recorded at and the tracking lines are everywhere. I used a head cleaning tape but this has not changed anything. I opened the cover and it free of any visible dust and lo

Every time i turn on my sony cyber-shot DSC-N2 now it says "For use with compatible battery only" and then turns off? Never happened before in last 4 years of use? Any suggestions... maybe need a new battery?

I have had my S9600 for 4 years, for most of that time, when i changed the batteries, all my settings remained the same. Now, when i change the batteries, every setting has returned to factory standard (stupid beeps and whirring noises, no date etc) and i have to reset everything. The user manual has no mention of an internal battery, but i figure there must be one and it now needs replacing. How do I do this?

I have a Kodak M1063 that has never been dropped or abused. I have had it for a couple of years and it has worked flawless. I have a Digital Rebel 40 D camera less than 1 year old and I removed the memory card and I cannot get it to go back into the slot. I have a Casio Watch module #1189. It is a digital alarm chronograph. The battery went dead while sitting in a drawer for many months -maybe a couple years! I own a Canon EOS Rebel XTi. This camera is unpredictable; i.e., I never know when it will decide not to record an image. I have reset it many times to the manufacturer's default settings, and then it SOMETIMES works, but then for some reason stops recording images. I have started to always carry a second camera (a point & shoot). However I am enrolled in a number of photography classes in the new year where I need an SLR. Is this camera issue serious or something I can fix? Thanks.

Kodak V1003 A few weeks ago, shortly after I'd taken a pic, the lens refused to retract and the camera switched off. It has never been dropped or had anything spilled on it. Strangely, when I press the button furthest left the camera comes on, allows me to view pictures on the card, set the time etc - everything except take pictures. Again when I try to switch off, the lens does not retract. Does this not suggest a software glitch of some kind?

Blurry pics The last time I used this camera, most of the pictures came out very blurry. I had to try to hold the camera completely still to keep them reasonably clear. These were just pictures of people, no sports, etc. It was on the usual auto setting. Even the ones that weren't too blurry were very grainy. My camera (Sony DSC-T100) is about 3 years old. It has worked perfectly in that time but recently, outdoor photos show a lot pink where it does not belong (sky, side walks, etc.). Indoor pictures still look great, with or without flash. Sounded similar to some of the bad CCD discussions I have seen, but my camera seems to have been built after that problem was supposedly fixed by Sony. I tried calling the number (866-703-7669) I have seen in several postings, but it does not seems to work.
