Just tried to hook up my camera to my computer and the computer is not recognizing the camera for some reason. Is it possible that the USB cable is bad. I am not getting an error message and we have done this many times without the software installed. We installed the software that comes with it and it wn't allow us to do it either. We just downloaded norton antivirus 2009 to our computer and this is the first time we have tried since doing that. I think the USB cable is bad but it's pretty new.

My Fuji 1500s 10 Mp camera will now power on when USB cable is connected. Purchased a Polaroid x800 camera and can not transfer photos to computer (and I have tried 3 computers - 2 running XP Pro and 1 running Windows 7).
