Having problems with your Energizer Duo Battery Charger for AA and AAA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries ?

Energizer +AA NIMH Batteries consumed quickly

\015 Hi, I m using Energizer +AA NIMH Batteries for my Canon powershot S5IS camera. Recently, the batteries are consumed too quickly, on an average of 60-70 snaps, whereas it's orighinal capacity is 420-450 snaps. I am not sure whether the problem is with my Energizer Charger or Energizer batteries. I've checked the camera with the service centre nad there is no problem with the camera.\015\012\015\012Please note that on your charger Owner's manual, I've read a point which says "Batteries that have not been used for several weeks or months (as in my case) may require 2 or 3 charging cycles to reach full capacity. Can you pls explain what it means by '2 or 3 charging cycles'. Pls explain me the time frame.\015\012\015\012If the above paragraph does not pertains to the actual solution then pls suggest whether should I go with the brand new batteries. Also pls suggest that if one goes for brand new batteries, does he has take a brand new charger of the same brand. This was the tip given to me by the Canon Service Executive..\015\012\015\012Awaiting your timely help..\015\012My details\015\012Nilesh Dhakle\015\012Versove, Andheri (W)\015\012E-mail - [email protected]\015\012phone - 9870122331\015\012\015\012\015\012Thanx\015

Hi, I have a Finepix A600, it has a very short battery life using NiMh batteries. While it was under warranty it had a software upgrade to improve the battery threshold tolerance of the camera. Batteries "depleted" my camera was working perfect with some rechargeable NiMh batteries i had bought, giving me about 400 shots / charge. However at one point, for no apparent reason, when i used them, they would be shown as 'depleted' by the camera after about 4-5 shots, shutting the camera down. It stayed like this so I decided to buy a set of new NiMh batteries, i bought panasonic brand. But the problem remains now, whenever i insert batteries, they will be depleted (or at least according to

I charged Energizer batteries on the Energizer Battery charger I bought. When I put them in my camera and turned it on, it read, " Warning!! Battery Exhausted." How can increase my battery life?

Camera was dropped in water for just seconds. It won't change between modes: play, video rec, and still shot. It is constantly in still shot mode. The battery dies quickly. It is deliriously happy with Alkaline batteries. Is this normal, or is there an internat adjustment requirewd for it ot accept the lower terminal voltage fro the NiMHs?

No adjustment can be made in your camera for battery type. NiMH is not a good choice for your camera. I would go with a Lithium Ion battery AND make sure you buy the charger specifically for it. It makes a difference!!Or, just continue to use t ... Digital Cameras

Battery life My AA 3000mah batteries don't last 30 mins before the camera switches itself off, indicating that the batteries are flat. When tested on a multimeter they read 1.24volts. The manual say I should get 300 shots using 2500mah batteries. The batteries have been discharged and charged up many times but still the same problem. I'm using Nimh type batteries that read 1.35v full charge and 1.24v when the camera shuts off. Is this a common fault with this camera ?

Battery Problem I have trouble with apparent battery failure due to bad contacts on the slide-out tray thingie that holds the batterys. Jamming it in several times when I change batteries sometimes helps, but often the camera will stop working in the middle of a shoot and indicate the battery is discharged. A quick in-and-out a couple of times of the thingie restores full battery power, but by then I've probably missed my picture. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that (and piss-poor aut

Bad Battery My DIgimax 530 has had battery problems for some time now. I know that this problem has not been like this forever.
