Automatic shoot? I need to know how to get my camera to "take pictures" on its own for a posed family photo. I know I should be able to set it up so that there are a few seconds before the picture takes, (so that I can get into the picture,) but I do not have my owner's manual and cant figure it out.

Why is my olympus e420 taking green tinted photos? I bought a new camera which I received yesterday, and it was until earlier, but has suddenly started taking yellowy/greeny tinted images. I've tried changing the settings, I've changed the camera modes, I reset the settings altogether and even changed lenses and yet the camera still takes tinted pictures, inside and outside. Also, when I switch the camera to live-view mode (shows exactly what the lens sees) it shows pretty much an entire green s

I've had my Olympus FE-340 for 3 years, and I've never had any problems with it before. Now, whenever I try to zoom in, the camera takes white pictures or pictures with streaks in them. I've tried reseting the camera, changing the battery, changing the picture card, switching settings, and turning the flash on and off. Is there any way to fix the white/streaky pictures? Or, does this mean that my camera will no longer work when I try to zoom in?

What are the optimal settings for my digital camera? I have a brand new Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH camera, but I've been really disappointed in the quality of pictures it takes. For example, sometimes there are these smallish blurred white circles on the pictures. Can you recommend optimal settings that I should be using? I use my camera indoors and occasionally outdoors, so whatever settings best cover all different conditions would be ideal.

Small white circles usually means dust on the lens.  Remove the dust with a blowerbrush - not a tissue.\012You are asking for a "1 size fits all" solution for your settings, and indoor and outdoor use really means different settings.   ... Continuous shooting I'm new to this so bare with me. I just got my Nikon D60 and I want to shoot pictures in continuous mode. I set it on manual, go into the menu and change it to continuous. I rotate the dial so it changes the shutter speed but when I take pictures it's just a black screen. As a matter of fact any time I try to take a picture in M it's just black. I'm hoping that there is just a setting I need to change and there's not something wrong with my camera. Thanks.

Hey man. Im not sure how new you are but basically i think your problem is you need to decrease the shutter speed to around 1/200-1/250 of a second and increase the apeture to around f10/12 and see if that works. If your operating at a high shutter s ... Nikon D60 Digital Camera with 18-55mm lens

Memory Problem I recently won the first price in a photo contest and received my first ever digital camera. It is a HP 735, 3Mpix camera. According to specifications the built-in memory should hold 125, 19 or 12 pictures, depending on quality. My camera display shows, there is place only for 92(not 125), 19 (not 13) and 8 (not 12) pictures. I have formatted the memory, but there is no change. Over exposure The exposure settings on the camera have suddenly become fixed - I can't change them either through fixing shutter speed, OEV, or any other settings. Even tried a factory reset by selecting 'initialize' from the menu, but the problem persists. High or low exposure settings are visible on the viewfinder (i.e. changing the settings shows the picture getting darker or lighter on the screen), but once the picture is shot, it's fixed at an overexposed state.

The camera is 2 years old, when turning on the power it goes to the date set,you can change the year, then it slides over to the month, but seems froze up, then the camera resets itself, if you skip the date set up, it shows a view on the lcd, but can't take a picture, and the camera resets again.
