Having problems with your Fuji Digital Cameras ?

I have a FUJIFILM JV100 & it is telling me that the SD card is not initialized ? It is an SD HC card. Would this be the problem? What type of SD card is best for the camera?

Answers :

Could be. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with \012the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

Probably the first thing to try is formatting the card. There is a function in the camera menus to do this. If it won't format or gives an error when you try, then the card may be incompatible. Try one of 1Gbyte or less. That is plenty of room for lots of pictures, and you can always carry a spare or two when you go on holiday.

I put a 4.0 gb sd card into the camera slot correctly. The camera says that the card must be formatted to work correctly. I format the card, but it just tells me I need to format again. There were pictures on the card initially and after the C643 tried to format, I rechecked and there were still pictures. I deleted all the pictures, and then tried to re-format, however I still get stuck in the format again and again loop. What exactly can I do to correct this problem?

I can't transfer my pics from lumix lx3 to pc. When I first connect camera to pc via usb cable, a new drive pops up and I can initially see my pics. Then things lock up and my pc tells me that it can't read from the drive and my camera won't turn off (unless I remove battery). Is this a common problem? The camera and sandisk sdhc 4gb are brand new. I'd rather not need depend on a card reader. Any help?

The video capture seems to work fine though. Can you offer any sug

When I view my card in the camera, I see all my photos. When I go to down load them using different programs, besides Kodak, it shows that some of the photo are "drawing failed".
