Having problems with your Fuji FinePix 3800 Digital Camera ?

The flash no longer works. In "auto" and in either the "auto flash" mode or "forced flash" mode no flash occurs. It is not in "suppressed flash" in the "portrait" screen position mode. The batteries are good. The shutter button is pressed after the charging is completed. The camera is not in "continuous shooting."

Hi there, \012

Well first of all try to reset your camera, remove the battery from your camera for 4 hours and then insert them again, it helps you to do a hard reset in your camera. if further you have the same problem then there must be some problem in the flash light of the camera, may be it need a new flash light, you can use a ohms meter to check the flash light of your camera, post further comments for more help or information....

My Nikon D40x won't auto-focus. When I press down the shutter button, it won't do anything at all. If I switch to manual and back to auto, it works for 2-3 shots, and stops working again. If change shooting modes from single to timer and back, it might work for a couple shots. I have not been able to find any other solutions. Any suggestions?

Hi, I've just recieved my nikon d90 back from a repair and service, and although everything appears to be working fine, whenever I want to change shooting modes,( auto, P, M, flash off etc), they only work once I have selected them, and then turned the camera off and back on. In other words I cannot be shooting in the Auto mode and then switch to "flash off auto"....all that happens is that the auto focus works but the shutter will not operate. Shutter speed on the auto mode of my s1000 camera seems slow. how can it be increased in the auto mode? This is a Fuji camera and by the time I press the shutter button subjects have moved. I have set the camera back to the original factory settings and I can adjust the shutter speed in the manual position but in auto it seems really slow.

Using my Canon XSi/450D, I'm interested in doing High Dynamic Range photography. But I can't discover how to make the automated shutter-speed range multi-shot (3 for the 450D) AEB work. I've gone into the menu and select and change the AEB range ( -2V) and pressed "set." Working from the "AV" in creative mode, I then set up my first shot with focus and ISO, and shoot. Now what? My d90 flashes an err sign somtimes when i shoot at manual mode.. but when i change my apperture and shutter speed setting, it will not appear anymore. Even at auto mode sometimes it flashes an err. Does the d90 flashes an error when you made wrong setting in your apperture and shutter speed?

White screen? My camera has suddenly stopped working. When I press the red 'shoot' or green 'review' button, all I get on the display is a white screen. Pressing the shutter button does make it shoot, and the zoom and the flash work. I have just taken the card out and examined the jpg files - it is still taking pictures. So it's the display that is busted. I guess my question is: Is it worth the repair bill to get it fixed?

The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When I press the button the little red light beside the flash sign lights up, but the camera does not take the photo. When I set it to flash mode, it still won't take a photo. When I turn off the flash, then it does. What could be the problem? Is it in the settings?
