The button is worn out more than likely. If it is under warranty, sent it back to Fuji and they will fix it for free. Do not attempt to clean this yourself unless you know exactly what you are doing. I have a Nikon D80 camera that is about 1 year old. I has worked fine until about 6 months ago. Sometimes when I turn it on and press the button to take the picture nothing happens. I have to wait awhile and keep playing with the button and then it will finally take the picture and act normal. This happens inside and out. Long Photo-Taking Hello, I have an S400 with a pretty fast memory card... It seems like its taking a longer time to take a photo than it used to? Will sometimes take images that are blurred and a browny red colour! This is inconsistant, I can take a really nice pic then the next one is blurred. I know the pic is going to be a bad one because usually you press the button and the pic shows up on the screen, if it is going to be a poor one, the screen stays blank for at least 30 seconds before displaying the image.
