Having problems with your Fuji FinePix E900 Zoom Digital Camera ?

A mark or dark spot is appearing on all images

\015 I have just noticed that a dark spot is appearing on all of my images. For how long this has been happening is less clear, but the snow has sure brought it to my attention. I believe the lens of my Finpix E900 is clean and fear it may be on the sensor. On the rear preview screen the spot becomes smaller or perhaps I should say more in focus when the zoom is used. Further examination reveals that if I turn on the digital zoom (10x) and zoom in the mark grows in size and moves towards the bottom of the screen, until it finally disappears off the bottom of the view screen at 10x.I have posted a visual example at: http://www.myfinepix.co.uk/gallery/14073/61368 \015

That's quite a spot! Yes, I believe it is on your sensor. It could be one of the following: dirt, a spot from moisture condensing on the sensor after bringing a cold camera into a warm house, or mold. It can be cleaned but I imagine it will be expensive since the camera will have to be disassembled. I don't know how much you paid for it or how long you've owned it, but if the cost will be too high, it might be time to think about a new camera. Or, you could live with it and use Photoshop Elements to remove the spot on photos you want to show off to friends.
