Having problems with your Fuji FinePix J10 Digital Camera ?

I took some very important photos at my best friends wedding on the weekend and i just tried to put them on the computer and the camera screen said "card not initialized" the pohotos were there yesterday. please help, i cant loose these photos took photos of wedding downloaded fine took more at evening now cant download or i cant find them if they have done this auto when put sd card in no prompt window for importing

take out the card and put it in external card reader. Can your computer read it?

If no, then get hold of some file recovery software like 'GetDataBack for FAT32' (buy/borrow/steal :) ) install it on your computer, GetDataBack should be able to pull back the data.

I inserted a 4GB SDHC card, clicked ok when prompted. clicked "yes" when asked to set SD card as default. took the SD card out and put it into my own camera. my camera said there were no images on the SD card. the photo machine at my local Boots store also said there were no images on the SD card.Tried NOT setting the SD card as default and it still didn't save any images.
