Having problems with your Fuji FinePix S1000FD Digital Camera ?

When I turn my camera on, the LCD doesn't light up anymore, and I can't view through the lens either. It worked fine until 2 days ago. I accidentally hit something on the camera while taking pictures, and I haven't been able to set it back.rn How can I fix this? Christmas is 2 days away, and I'm beginning to worry.

Blurry Pictures I have had this camera less than a year. I took it to the beach 2 weeks ago and the camera was fine. Crystal clear pictures. Then, on the last day of vacation, the pictures started coming out blurry. Even when I am preparing to take a picture the view finder is blurry. The camera is on auto focus and it is set to the shoot and click setting (little green camera). It didn't get wet at all. Anyone know if there is a setting that I may have touched or is this an internal problem.

I was taking pictures outside on a cold day and the camera froze - after warming it up I was able to take more pictures but I thought I lost all the previous ones. I subsequently took about 50 pictures and a message appeared indicating the memory was full(strange?) so I downloaded the pictures to my computer and after download the 50 or so pictures, the camera showed the previous pictures I had taken and I downloaded these and erased the card - I was wondering now if I take pictures whether it i

Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

I'm not sure what is relevant and what isn't but... Two days ago I tried taking a picture on my timer and all of them came out blurry. I wasn't sure why this was so I started poking around on the camera and decided to reset all factory settings. Then that evening I tried to upload my pictures to my computer as usual. The software (Picasa) locked up. I tried taking the camera out of the cradle and turning it on but it wouldn't turn on. I rebooted my computer and tried turing the camera on

We just purchased a Nikon Coolpix L18, 8.0 Megapixel camera. We understand how we can resize the picture, after we take the picture to 160 x 120 (e-mail), page 45. What we do not understand or can not see in the user manual is to be able to set the camera to the 160 x 120 BEFORE any of the pictures are taken and to have the 160 x 120 remain as a standard.

Automatic shoot? I need to know how to get my camera to "take pictures" on its own for a posed family photo. Have the Nikon D90 camera and it does not allow me to take pictures when ever I want. It is in full auto mode and just does not want to take the picture even in bright day light. The F keeps on blinking in full auto mode and even if I switch to manual mode it does not allow me to change settings. It is very frustrating! what is wrong with this D90??

The blinking F-- means that the camera doesn't think a lens is attached. You can try removing the lens and re-attaching it. Or if you have another lens, try that. There are quite a few reports of this issue with the 18-135 kit lens. ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-200mm lens

I want to take black and white photos on my Casio Exilim EX-Z30 Digital Camera. Is there a setting that allows me to do this? I have checked the instructions but it doesn't seem to mention how I can change the colour settings, just the White Balance. Am I only able to take colour pictures?

The EX-Z30 doesn't have a black-and-white mode. You can convert a color picture to black-and-white using just about any photo-editing program on a computer, and this will give you better control over the conversion than any camera. ... Casio Exilim EX-Z30 Digital Camera

Pictures always come out blurry and/or the lighting is awful regardless of what "scene" i choose. The only one that works "okay" some of the time is "portrait" scene. I don't know if I hit something by accident under a different menu that changed a setting.
