Having problems with your Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera ?

When I turn the camera on, it says "card not initialized", but it's the same card I have used always. The card is good. I took it to a store and all the pics were still there. Help!

Answers :

This happens sometimes if the card was inserted into a computer or another camera or when a camera is disconnected from a computer without using the "safely remove hardware" function. You need to get a card reader and use it to download your pictures to your computer. Then, insert the card into the camera, go into the menu and find "format" (may be called "initialize") and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the card and initialize it.\012typrice_35.jpg

I inserted my old CF (undamaged card) and formatted it and now it seems to take photos BUT nothing shows on my camera viewfinder when I go to take the photos.
