Having problems with your Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera ?

Fuji s5000 It it taking way longer that ever for my shots to store after I take them

Answers :

There a couple of things you can try
1) Format the card in the camera and try it again.
2) replace the memory card

If neither of those solutions help , and if hyou have not changed the settings in the camera (such as increasing the picture resolution), then the camera has a problem and must be repaired. If your question has been answered, be sure to rate my solution. Thanks!

When I press the clicker ( button to take the shot ) it takes like 1 second before the shot is captured, is there a way to speed it up ? I take a lot of pics of bands playing, and I'm all ready & focused in, and there goes the singer with some kina gesture to the crowd ( or guitrarist ) I snap, before the snapper goes off the gesture is gone. :(

You say in your description that you're "focused in". That means that you've pressed the shutter button half-way and allowed the camera to lock in the focus (it will beep). You need to maintain that half-press until the moment you want to snap the pi ... Digital Cameras

For several years my C-3020 zoom camera has worked fine. Suddenly, now when I take a picture, the picture leaves when I snap the shutter. Always before the picture remained on the screen so I could see if it was a good take. I can't figure out why it has stopped holding the shot. Any answer for me please?? The way it's working now I have to wait and see if it was a good shot later.

I was taking photos of a girl at our church last night, Jan 27, she was coming out a her first time singing. I was being paid to take photos of her performance. I was switching back and forth between viewing the photos, and taking photos with different options on this new to me camera. The view finder, and flip screen went BLACK. I can no longer take photos, they all com eout black now. I was able

Focus problems I have 2 digital cameras already so I know to hold the button down 1/2 way for focusing. The Nikon is new. I HATE manuals. I am having trouble focusing on close up shots. They are either real blurry or slightly out of focus. It seems the shutter speed is so slow that any movement of my hand ruins the shot. I can take a shot of something, a plant for instance, pulled in fairly close. One shot may be ok and the next one is blurry

There are two likely reasons for the blurry pictures. One possibility is, as you surmised, a slow shutter speed. Try mounting the camera on a tripod or other stable support. You might also try turning on the flash. The other reason is focu ... Digital Cameras

When we take pix w/ my Dad's EASYSHARE DX6490 Digital Camera, there's a huge delay between taking shots. Is there a way to speed up the time it takes after he shoots a pix before he can take another?

My Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T100 often won't take photos as though the button is not working anymore. I used to be able take after focusing longer than normal but now have either got to zoom in or zoom out or fiddle with other functions before it will take a picture and then refuse to work again.

Camera takes photos without actually "focusing" on the object. Seems their is no "prefocus" with the button. As soon as you touch the focus button, the camera automatically takes the photo. When the camera was working correctly, you'd push the focus button half way down and then it would do it's job. Now it just takes the shot if you barely even touch the button. Not good...........

I have a new (Dec., 2009) D90. This morning I discovered that I had an "Err" message and a "CHA" message. Both were on the LCD panel on the top of the camera. I was not able to turn the camera off, and the only way to turn it off was to take out the battery. Upon reinserting the battery, everything appeared normal, but after taking one shot the problem reappeared. The interesting thing was that I took the camera body to a Nikon certified shop in New York, and they tried it with a different lens,

Hi,\015\012\015\012This can be achieved by many ways. If you use a memory card which has a higher writing speed it will take very less time. This is measured in terms of 'X'. Any higher X cards is good. Go for SDHC cards rather than norma ... General Electric GE E1235 Digital Camera
