Night shoot and Indoor photo quality is not good with Fuji S5700

\015 Most of my night shoot and indoor shots in my Fuji S5700 are with grains in spite of selecting SP1/ party or night modes. Same shots with my Sony cybershot cameras come very clear and neat. Whould like to understand is there any setting issue ?\015

Answers :

Noise is a common problem with all cameras. Some cameras (may include your sony) eliminate noise usinf propreitary software within the camera itself whilst some depend on external sources (the fuji). However both cams are equally good / bad. Try using some softwares on your PC to eliminate noise (Noise Ninja and neat image are considered better) Alternatively you can use Noiseware community edition, it is free.

\015\012If you do not want to do post processing then, you can try the following combo setting ISO to 64, choose slow synchro flash mode + tripod. you should get better results.

Grainy Pictures I received this camera as a Christmas gift, this past Christmas, and I have not been able to get a decent photo from it yet. The indoor photos are very grainy with a bubble sometimes in the photo. Outdoor photos are too light and also grainy, especially when the zoom is used. I have tried adjusting the image quality and the ISO setting but neither of these adjustments have improved the quality of the pictures. The printed pictures look worse than the images on the LCD screen. I c

Indoor Photography I have a Sony DSC-P1 3.2 Mega Pixels camera. I've owned it for 3 years now and have been happy with it. However, one thing that I've noticed is that sometimes when I take pictures indoors with limited light, the quality of the picture isn't very good (it's sort of fuzzy). When the lighting is better (such as outdoors), the quality is outstanding (crisp and clear) and produces beautiful pictures. This issue regarding taking pics indoors or in lower light - is this a camera qual

Hi. Very unhappy with quality of Ixus 80is photos. They are not at all sharp, milky, with no depth, in various light conditions. I did comparison identical rural scenic photos with the canon and 2 different 5 megapixel phone cameras. In most cases, the Nokia N95 camera results are far superior to the canon. I have read nothing but good reviews about the quality of pics from this camera so I'm wondering why mine are so bad. Any ideas?

I've got a Fujifilm F30. Since yesterday, its not working properly. When I take photos, it 'absorbs' too much light and indoor photos becomes really bright and outdoor photos becomes nearly white from brightness. And when I transfer the pictures to computer, it has minor lines accross the picture. The video mode seems to be unaffected. What is the problem and is it worth fixing ? Would like to fix it if I can as F30 is still considered one of the best compact camera Fuji has ever made ! Thanks.
