Having problems with your Fuji FinePix S5700 Digital Camera ?

I need to know how to reset the resolution setting on my Fujifilm Digital Camera FinePix S5700/FinePix S700? Can you help me get the best quality? It isn't blurry, but I think it could be better. Maybe, I can't get any better than the settings I have already. What should my settings be to get the best quality pictures from this camera? Can anyone tell me, Please? Lines I am getting lines on my pictures. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? I went through the diagnostic testing. That went fine. I reset all settings. I took the batteries out and the memory card for a half hour and put them back in. None of this worked. The best i can explaing is there horizpntal lines through the pictures. Any ideas??? My warranty is long expired. Just wonder if it's worth getting fixed or would it be better to purchase a new camera.

I have the exact same problem with MY HP 945 camera! It had horizontal lines through it in several of the shots. I thought at first it was the memory card, but after using that same card in another (older but still working HP) camera, and swapped in/ ... HP Photosmart 945 Digital Camera

Blurry pictures I've had this camera for almost a year and everytime I want good pictures (vacation, birthdays, xmas) I'm disappointed with the quality of my pictures. So many of my pictures turn out blurry. And sometimes they'll look fine when reviewing on the camera, but when downloaded to my computer, the quality is poor. Some people say they keep their's on the auto setting, I find I need to keep mine on the nighttime setting to get decent pictures. Any sugggestions with settings, etc to hel

What are the optimal settings for my digital camera? I have a brand new Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH camera, but I've been really disappointed in the quality of pictures it takes. For example, sometimes there are these smallish blurred white circles on the pictures. Can you recommend optimal settings that I should be using? I use my camera indoors and occasionally outdoors, so whatever settings best cover all different conditions would be ideal.

Small white circles usually means dust on the lens.  Remove the dust with a blowerbrush - not a tissue.\012You are asking for a "1 size fits all" solution for your settings, and indoor and outdoor use really means different settings.   ... W1 Sharpening I am new to the Sony W1 and I have read somewhere that the camera should be set to the P mode and the sharpening to the ( - ) minus and it would yeild the best results. I've never heard this philosophy applied to the W1. i usually hear about this associated with the 828 and higher end cameras. the (-) setting is usually used to reduce the amount of noise that the image will have straight from the cam.\015\012\015\01 ... Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W1 Digital Camera

Pink pictures the other day.... My old camera was an Olympus Camedia c-765 digital. My new one is an Olypmus SP-800UZ 14 megapixel. The more I use the SP-8OOuz the more disappointed with the pictures I take. None of them seem sharply in focus like they were with the Camedia camera. Am I doing something wrong or is it a failing in the camera? I have tried most of the multiple settings but I am just not satisified. I thought with having more megapixels I would get a better picture. Am I wrong? Thank you

Grainy Pictures I received this camera as a Christmas gift, this past Christmas, and I have not been able to get a decent photo from it yet. The indoor photos are very grainy with a bubble sometimes in the photo. Outdoor photos are too light and also grainy, especially when the zoom is used. I have tried adjusting the image quality and the ISO setting but neither of these adjustments have improved the quality of the pictures. The printed pictures look worse than the images on the LCD screen. I c

Grainy Pictures Lately I have been looking at my images photographed at 1200X800 and seen they look quite grainy. I have no idea why they have all this grain, I have the sharpness at normal level and the quality set as FINE. The ISO is in auto mode also. Horizontal lines OK, we fixed the black screen and black pictures, but I'm still getting a strong pattern of horizontal lines in my pics. Blurry Pictures I have had this camera less than a year. I took it to the beach 2 weeks ago and the camera was fine. Crystal clear pictures. Then, on the last day of vacation, the pictures started coming out blurry. Even when I am preparing to take a picture the view finder is blurry. The camera is on auto focus and it is set to the shoot and click setting (little green camera). It didn't get wet at all. Anyone know if there is a setting that I may have touched or is this an internal problem.

In May we purchased a Canon Power Shot 590IS. We love the camera, however, battery life with camera is poor at best. The camera was retruned to Best Buys where we purchased it aong with an extended warranty. They keep the camera for 10 days, retruned it saying nothing was wrong. Any suggestions?
