Having problems with your Fuji Finepix S5800 Digital Camera ?
I realize that my settings are not correct as my pictures are grainy. How do I reset the settings and what are they for the best results.
I have one and I think you might have the film speed set too high. The menu button should take you to the settings which will lead you to film speed settings, the lower the number, the slower the shots but clarity might be improved. Also you can try different options on the megapixels, mine goes up to 5 with 2 options. You might have the megapixels setting too low, 5 works well with mine.
Hope it helps.

W1 Sharpening I am new to the Sony W1 and I have read somewhere that the camera should be set to the P mode and the sharpening to the ( - ) minus and it would yeild the best results. I've never heard this philosophy applied to the W1. i usually hear about this associated with the 828 and higher end cameras. the (-) setting is usually used to reduce the amount of noise that the image will have straight from the cam.\015\012\015\01 ... Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W1 Digital Camera
Grainy, image I bought my Riccoh Caplio GX 5.1 mp three years ago. At first it took the best pictures I could wish for, but for monyhs now I am getting very variable results. Some photos are OK, but many are grainy, "pixleated" - having tiny spots of the primary colours throughout the image. There doesn't seem to be any one situation when this happens. It can be inside, outside, flash or none. The pictures also seem to be a lot darker, so photos taken inside or at night are much poorer quality,

I have a sony HDR-HC1e camcorder. It works perfectly until I change the battery or switch between mains and battery, it then refuses to start. Not even a hard reset will start it. Leaving it with no power for a hour results in it restarting correctly when battery reinserted although sometimes loses clock setting. I've checked the internal cell and it reads about 3V.

When trying to take a picture the color is off. It shows a purple tent on the screen, but there are old photos on there that are shown in normal color. Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera. Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. But can anything be done to correct the blurry pictures taken in this situation?? Any software known to correct this problem? Thank's, Angela Sapp

Close-up picture Hi! I purchased my camera to take up close-up pictures of handmade greeting cards. The cards are 4" x 5 1/2" with lots of little details. I'd like to show as much detail as possble. The camera is 2 years old, when turning on the power it goes to the date set,you can change the year, then it slides over to the month, but seems froze up, then the camera resets itself, if you skip the date set up, it shows a view on the lcd, but can't take a picture, and the camera resets again. My son borrowed it and took pictures snorkeling, so it may have gotten wet, but the lcd screen is not distorted as it was a year ago when I got water in it.
