Having problems with your Fuji Finepix S6500FD Digital Camera ?

The shutter speed seems very slow. It's almost impossible to take simultaneous shots as you would perhaps for shooting sport or something similar. What can I do to improve it?

Answers :

Check how full your memory is. The fuller it is the longer the camera takes to store the image. If you are using the flash, it also takes time to recharge and as the battery drains it takes longer.

When i go to shoot an action photo like something that is moving the camera always delays. i focus on the moving target but when the button is pressed the subject moves out of the view and then the shot is missed. my old olympus stylus from a few years ago used to take great moving shots. i could capture the kids doing just about anything like sports and stuff that you need to have the camera fire right away and not lose the moment because of the delay of the camera shutter. what kind of setting

Won't focus I was out shooting some sports the other day and all of a sudden my camera (D70 with a 200mm lense) would not focus and started going a little crazy. however, it would still take a shot occasionally. when i tried to change the menu, the menu itself on the monitor was jumping around and wouldnt let me select anything. then suddenly it worked again. then again, just as suddenly, it stopped working. this has never happened before and I'm at a total loss other than to take it to a dealer

There are a number of flexible circuit connectors on the bottom two circuit boards of the D70. Possibly one or more have come loose. The flex connector for the rear LCD panel is also on 1st circuit board (memory compression PCB). You may have a pro ... Nikon D70s Digital Camera

All of a sudden every picture I take with the 55-200 zoom lens is blurry and slightly out of focus. Pictures with the 18-55 lens are still sharp. I have been using that 55-200 lens for years for sports shots, and have never had any problem. I get the same blurriness shooting in both the auto sports setting and in shutter priority. It is a brand new issue. Could it be the AF servos starting to go in the lens, or am I doing something stupid?

Simplest answer is that you may have accidentally flipped the focus switch (A/M) on the lens to M. This turns off autofocus for that lens (which you might need to do if autofocus just can't resolve the image). Try turning it back to A.Ano ... Nikon D40x Digital Camera

Recnetly while doing a photo shoot, the camera which is a Canon Rebel XP suddenly began to take shots that showed only the very top of the shot with the remaining showing all black. Initially, I thought perhaps it was the battery but have tested that and it's not the problem. This particular camera has had approximately 10,000 photos shot from it. Any ideas?

Hi K akima...have followed your advice, but no luck. When I go to continuous mode, it only lets me shoot a single shot, the display briefly reads r 08 then returns to r 09 again. I've tried my other lenses ( Sigma and Nikno ) and they autofocus okay and still show the r09 in the display, but again it won't allow me continuous shots, just the one. The Sigma 120-300 doesn't have an autofocus switch, and i've thoroughly cleaned the contacts. Yes it works manually but I need auto for sports pics. Un

I was at a game shooting pictures with my Canon rebel EOS xsi a friend picked up the camera... started shooting pictures and when he handed the camera back the autofocus wasn't working and the shutter would only occasionally close. How do I get back to the original manufacturers settings... I think he may have played with the buttons when he was trying to get the shot... so th setting may be off... Canon xt When I try to shoot sports at night under lights I am having difficulty getting my camera in maunal mode without having bulb mode as well. How do I turn bulb off? I am setting my ISO at 1600 and pushing my f-stop as low as I can go, am I doing something wrong? It worked once for a recent football game but again last night shooting soccer could not get the bulb setting to turn off.

First of all, shooting sports in manual is about the most difficult thing you could ever choose to do. I use the Av (Aperture Priority) and let the camera set the shutter speed. Just set your aperture wide open and fire away. That way, you're not con ... Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

Double-exposures Anyhow...shooting with a regular film camera I often shot intentional double-exposures to create certain effects. Is this even possible with a digital camera? I would guess the answer is no, but I'm hoping there will be a way I can do this.

I have bought a GF1 camera by internet auction, brand new. But my problem is that the serial number on the box is HC1004154029 while the number on the camera is FVGC103910. Why would there be a difference. I am panicking that perhaps it is a copy or something?

The LCD on my Canon Powershot A610 went completely black yesterday while I was shooting. The illumination has not returned. The photos taken look fine. However, it is not possible to preview any shots. In playback mode, the illumination operates as it should. I know of another person whose A610 had this same malfunction recently, and we have no idea how to remedy this. The relevant section of the manual did not provide a solution. Sir,im a little bit confused on whats the best lens, that i have to buy?is it the nkkon 55-200mm,18-2000mm..my camera is D5000..im just a beginner in photography, and im more on point and shoot type..but i want to improve more,so im planning to buy a lens that i would not change lenses at a given situation.

The best lens depends on what you want to do with it. The 18-200mm gives you a wide focal length range in a single lens. If you don't need the full range, there are other options, such as the 55-200mm, 18-105mm, and 18-135mm. There are also shorter l ... Nikon D5000 Digital Camera

I have the Canon EOS 400D/ Rebel XTi digital camera. I take a lot of action pictures on sports mode. Lately, the camera started freezing in the middle of a series of shots and will read error-99. I have to shut the camera off and back on, or sometimes even reinstall the battery before I can shoot again. It had been working fine up to now - and the battery is fully charged.

My Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600 stopped working. I press the power button and nothing happens. I tried changing batteries, but it shows no sign of life. It was left in the trunk of my car overnight, inside a luggage bag. The temperature was close to freezing, so maybe the cold weather had something to do with the problem. I left it in my closet for about a week, and when I tried to use it, the power would not turn on. Thanks for your time.

Resolution Problem I just purchased a 14n and perhaps I'm doing something wrong but I set the resolution to 13.5mb and my files are coming up 6mb or even less. Also the color and sharpness seem to be off. I have been using a Fuji S1 with great results but wanted to move up to the 14n for it's high resolution capabilties but I don't seem to be getting it. Any help would be most appreciated.

To get the full resolution the 14N offers, you have to shoot raw files. The camera will shoot raw at several resolutions, as well as J-Pegs, see your owner's manual. The 14N will not shoot in-camera to a tiff. Once you turn the raw file into a tiff u ... Kodak DCS 14n Digital Camera

I applied lens cleaning fluid directly to the lens of my camera, a Fuji F50FD digital compact, but it seems to have leaked into the lens housing. Any photos I now take appear with mutiple fine white streaks across them. Curiously, when I shoot in video mode the footage appears completely unaffected. Is this something that I can fix myself - is it just a question of taking the camera apart, then cleaning the inside with care? Or would the lens housing now to be replaced?

I'm trying to shoot HDR photos using my XSi/450D. From the menu two I've set the AEB EV step range as 0, -2 and 2. From here, though, I don't know what to do. If I go directly from the menu to shooting, I don't get any automatic shots, but rather single, individual shots based on the current exposure settings. Help. I've scanned my 45D manual, DVD tutorial, etc. and cannot find my missing step to create a series of AEB shots. Many Thanks, Robert
