Emailing photos what is the best setting on the camera for photos that are going to be emailed?

Hi,
\015\012
\015\012I would still take them at a high resolution. That way if you would want to make prints they would be of good quality.
\015\012
\015\012If you want to email them the best thing to do is to download them and then open the pictures you want to email with whatever editing program you have and use the resize options. If you resize them to around 400 X 600 or even 600 X 800 pixels they should be a good size to email. Once you resize them use the Save as... menu option to put a suffix on it.
\015\012
\015\012For example, if you had a picture named Image_0001. Open it at full size. Resize it. Then select Save as... and name it Image_001_small or Image_001_email. That leaves the original intact and now allows you to attach the smaller one to an email that is a nice size.
\015\012
\015\012Hope this helps.
\015\012
\015\012Thanks for using Fixya.

Hi i am using a Nikon N75 to take pictures for my photo class, and the instructor wants us to take low light indoor phtotos at a shutter speed of 1/30 at f2.2. However, when i go to set these settings in manual mode the camera will not let me set my aperture to 2.2 it usually stops at 4 and there is no way i can make it 2.2. i didn't know if there is a limitation on the camera but it seems like i should be able to select what i want.

It's probably a limitation of your lens. You didn't say what lens you're using, but one of the common kit lenses sold with the N75 only goes to f/3.3 at best. If you had a lens that opens up more, the camera will let you use it.The differ ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Would it be best for me to do manual settings, if so which one? Thanks Julie

Hi there. I have an Olympus E-510 that is about 3 years old. It's been working fabulous until just until recently. Overexposed photos?? when i hit my shutter release button, sometimes the flash doesn't pop up and the view finder goes black. Many picture moments are missed because of this!

The view finder "going black" on an SLR is caused by the mirror being up, which is also when the camera is actually taking the picture! The mirror sends the light from the lens to either the viewfinder or the sensor. When it's down, the light goes ... Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens
