Having problems with your FUJIFILM FinePix S1800 Digital Camera ?

I was taking pictures for my photography class and after 3-4 pictures in, the camera froze. I turned it off and on and it did it again. When I tried to check the photos I took, it told me "read error". So, I clicked on the reset option and I was able to take and look through my photos. Now the issue, when I plug in the usb cable in to my camera and my computer, my computer keeps on freezing when I tried to upload my images. It didn't have this issue before. Answers :

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

When I view my photos I have already taken they look good until I try to zoom in, then the photos go fuzzy in multiple color stripes taking over the screen. Will my photos be fine when I load them to my computer? Is this my camera or my memory card. I put someone else's memory car in my camera and could zoom in and it was fine. I put mine back in my camera, took two pictures, and could zoom in on those photos and it was fine, but not on the previous pictures I have taken. I did plug my camera
