Having problems with your HP Digital Cameras ?

With my hp Photosmart 930 series digital camera I sometimes get a heavy magenta cast on the light areas and highlights of the picture.

Answers :

I've worked with dozens of these cameras and never seen anything like what you are describing. To me it actually sounds like hardware failure on the cameras part. Unless you are mashing buttons as you close the shutter then there's no way to get what you are experiencing without the actual camera acting up. Do you think it is still under warranty? This is definitely a warranty claim issue.

\015\012To remove the magenta cast from the pictures, you need to adjust the white balance setting of your camera to depending upon the conditions in which you are taking the shot.
\015\012Please elaborate the problem, eg. in which location you are shooting when you get this magenta tones, also the camera setting you are using so that we can guide you accordingly.

Color Problems I have currently been using a Kodak 14n at my current job and have noticed something rather strange. With every picture I take, the photo has an deep magenta cast. In photoshop 7 I adjust the color either by using autocolor or by manual color adjustment. After getting the color a close as I can, I notice that there are faint sections of color vertically across the picture. One third is slightly green, the middle third is yellow, and the right third is magenta. So basically I have

White balance I have an ongoing problem with all my images having a stronge red / yellow color cast to them. It does not matter if I'm in the daylight or shooting under flouresent lights. When I use my flash the area directly in front of the flash is usually ok, but where the flash falls off, the immediate area has that color cast to it. Example: If I take a picture of the front fender, of a vehicle from six feet away, the fender is usually ok but the chrome wheel, tire and pavement have the red

I'm not sure I understand the problem, but I'll give it a try anyway - on the D50 you can choose the point of focus (1 out of 5 spots). If you're in 'all automatic' (A) mode, the point of focus is selected automatically by the camera. In other modes, ... Nikon D50 Digital Camera

I have a Nikon Coolpix L110. When I take pictures, they often look yellow. I can get the color to correct by focusing on a nearby area, but when I return to the shot I want to take, the color almost always goes back to a yellowish cast. I bought this camera because I was having the same problem with my last Nikon. I thought it was the camera. Now I'm thinking the problem is with the manufacturer.

My pictures have a yellow cast to them and they are not very sharp. When I take pictures outside, my photos are invariably washed out. I find myself manually adjusting light balance before I print (either darkening if I take picture outside or lightening if I take the picture inside). I almost always use Auto mode. I have found nothing that corrects the nasty yellow cast.

Olympus stylus zoom 140. Camera was great for about 2 years, pictures were great. My last two rolls of film developed with large, orange light streaks running vertically just to the right of center. Additionally, there were several "blobs" of orange light left of center. This occurred on 90% of the pictures, the remaining 10% were fine. Is this a light leak in the camera body? Is it worth trying to get Olympus to repair? Of course, the camera is now out of warrenty. Thanks for your time
