Time delay when taking pictures
\015 Is there any way to remove the time delay when taking pictures. I have missed so many pictures of my Granddaughter that I've threatened to throw the camara away. I've tried all modes, but by the time the picture is taken, she has already moved or I end up with a picture of where she used to be. I've read the manual but can't find any reference to this characteristic. I've talked to other people, who complain about the same problem. As far as I'm concerned, the Instamatic is a better camara. At least with it you can get a shot of her first step instead of after she has fallen down.\015
You are experiencing "shutter lag", a common problem with point-and-shoot cameras. To eliminate the problem, you need to press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus (you will hear a beep)...you can then hold that position and when the right moment happens, press the rest of the way for an instantaneous picture. With a little practice, you will become very good at this procedure.
