Having problems with your Kodak EasyShare C633 Digital Camera ?

My Kodak C633 is not seeing/recognizing the SD card.

\015 I recently tried to print pix from a celebration. The machine would not read the SD card. The technician said the card was corrupted.\015\012\015\012I bought a new SD card and put it in the camera, took 11 pix and camera said the internal memory is full. Camera is not seeing or recognizing the SD card.\015\012\015\012What do I do now?\015

Answers :

The reason this problem occurred is that you likely never formatted the card. The card will work fine in the beginning for the first few shots, but eventually will corrupt. But don't format that card just yet as it will erase the card.

\015\012Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for:

\015\012
You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're very inexpensive these days:

\015\012
\015\012AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in your camera to prevent this from happening again (dig out that instruction manual to figure out how). Keep in mind formatting will also totally erase your card, so again only do this after you've recovered the photos.
