Having problems with your Kodak EasyShare C643 Digital Camera ?

Ready to cry

\015 I bought the Kodak EasyShare Z1285 in June. Took it out of my purse yesterday (it was in a carrying bag) and turned it on. The display screen looks like it has fireworks on it and I can't see pictures, even if I choose the 'review' button. The display glass itself is perfectly smooth without a crack whatsoever. HELP?? I love this camera! -- Laurie in CT\015

Same thing happened to me, i carried mine in my pocket. the glass itself doesnt crack but the lcd inside it does. you can still take pictures and videos with it but you have to hook it up to a computer to see them. ive been looking everywhere for the menus to it since i cant see them but i cant find them. everytime i put batteries in it the date resets so it always says 2006 since i cant change it. also, you can look on ebay for a similar model that has a working lcd for like 20 to 30 dollars. its fairly simple to do, but it has to be the same model.

Problematic Camera I have a EasyShare DX4530 which has suddenly started acting funny. Here's the sequence of events: - power up works fine - lens comes out ok - green light glows steady, ready for a picture - picture takes fine - green light doesn't turn on again - no amount of pressing the shutter button will bring the green ready light back - pressing the SHARE button a couple times (sometimes 2, 3, even 4 times) will move thru the share sequence and then finally exit that function, turning

I just discovered that the real problem is a STICKY SHUTTER BUTTON, staying down after taking a picture. This prevents the green ready light from coming on until I jiggle the shutter button. It has actually started to be hard to press, making a defin ... Kodak EasyShare DX4530 Digital Camera
